Premier Inn Huntingdon (A1/A14) Hotel
Ranked #4 of 9 Hotels in Huntingdon
Reviewed 18 July 2012

If you are visiting the huntingdon area, you could do a lot worse than using this budget hotel while you are there. Price is great, rooms are clean and comfortable, if slightly too warm sometimes.
The hotel is quiet. There is a great breakfast at the Table Table next door. Kids ate free while we stayed and the food was good. There is a Macdonalds and a garage just over the road for when your willpower weakens, or you need early morning petrol. Everything you need is on site, including a bar at the table table that serves a very good pint of Guiness and a good cappucino.
Traffic noise is light, and the intersection is very convenient for the A14 and A1.
I would highly recommend it for business and budget travel, especially if you are taking a family room.

Room Tip: rooms only have a plug in fan, so summer might find you sleeping under just sheets.

No complaints at all. It lived up to the high standard we'd come to expect of a Premier Inn. Found the location convenient and surprisingly quiet. Restaurant offered good food and reasonable prices. Staff all polite and pleasant.

We stayed for two nights and were very pleased with how clean it was. Good value for money. Will make sure we stay at Premier Inns in the future. Staff here were very friendly.

First time in a Premier Inn - it will not be our last! Excellent facilities and superb value for money. Very clean, comfortable and quiet even though we were right by two very busy roads.

We have just returned home after a two night stay at this hotel. Clean, modern and very comfortable. The room had obviously been refurbished and we have no complaints whatsoever. The staff were very helpful and cheerful. We ate at Table Table one night and had a pleasant meal. The breakfasts were lovely. So nice to see that they also cater for those of us who do not like a cooked breakfast. The choice of healthy options was fantastic.

We travel frequently and are left disappointed at the standards of some very expensive hotels. Excellent value for money and we would stay here again.

Room Tip: Top floor rooms are quieter.

I had booked 2 disabled rooms and on arrival was told that the Hotel had changed the booking to 1 disabled room. I was never advised before arriving that the booking had been changed. If it is essential had you require the facilities of a wheelchair accessible room be very aware that you might be stranded with no suitable accommodation. I have NOT had an explanation as to how or why this happened.

We are well used to Premier Inns. This was a modern one and the room was clean, comfortable and modern. Everyone was helpful. We had dinner and breakfast in the adjoining restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful both times. Everything positive. A good place to stopover. The only thing to watch is, follow the directions of Premier Inn on their page about where to turn off if travelling southwards.
