I was stuck waiting for 1 hour in Skipton on a slow Sunday!
Fortunately for me The Coffee Mill was one of the few places open before 1000am.
I ordered poached eggs on toast, superb! Well cooked white with a perfect
Soft yolk! Also came with a side salad, unusual but nice. Would recommend anytime.

“Cracking Crumpets ...”

... Literally! You could have broken a tooth on them! Also, the children's menu could do with an overhaul - I mean, seriously, chicken nuggets?! Smaller portions of the adult meals would be better. Other than that, the food was OK.

“1st visit & our last”
Reviewed 26 March 2014

Ordered 2 hot roast beef sandwiches 1 on white & 1 on brown. The white came in a cheap t-cake & the beef was full of gristle. The brown came in cheap brown sliced bread, 1 half of the brown sandwich was ok but the other half had 2 pieces of beef both with a big seam of gristle running through each piece. We spoke to who we guessed was the owner & he took it away & brought us another each. The replacement brown was ok but the white was still full of gristly pieces. The sandwiches were accompanied by a side salad comprising of a bit of shredded lettuce, a few small pieces of onion, 2 shards of pepper, half a cherry tomato & 2 crisps. We had a dish of chips to share which were ok but no sauce or vinegar was offered. I had hot chocolate which was advised with a flake but came without a flake.
We arn't tourists as my sister lives in Skipton so perhaps we would have done better going to the confectioners for a sandwich or going to Greggs.

Excellent food and service, 12 of us called on Sunday lunchtime while out cycling and despite a complicated order everything was correct, the owner was very helpful filling up bottles etc, they even provide blankets if you sit outside on a cooler day, will definitely be back.

“More a run of the mill”
Reviewed 11 February 2014

Looked cosy outside and the decor is interesting but we were disappointed in the quality. We had jacket potatoes which weren't fully cooked and very hard in places, though the flavour was ok. The staff seemed rather bored. It's ok for a drop in but wouldn't go again.
