Saw the good reviews so planned a lunch stop here and were not disappointed ..... it was so lovely we went back for afternoon cuppa and cake on the way back to the railway station - real tea with tea leaves! Very warm welcome and lovely food. Will definitely be back. NB it looks quite small from the outside but there are tables upstairs.

“Amazing find!!”
Reviewed 7 July 2014

This is pretty much perfection in cafe form! Owners of struggling cafes ought to visit here to see how to do things properly.

We were drawn in by the lovely outside decor, and the massive, hand written menus on the walls ensured that we stayed. It's light and airy inside, with quirky seating, and pretty decorations. The staff were all friendly and very cheerful. Both myself and my mother had (GORGEOUS) egg mayo and bacon sandwiches on two different types of bread. The sandwiches were HUGE and came with a lovely dressed leaf salad with a sprinkle of couscous on it. The teas were piping hot and very good quality, and you got a large teapot. The menu is very extensive and there are the traditional favourites plus lots of new exciting combinations, so it would be great for a family visit.

The traybakes and scones looked rather spectacular and I hope to return to sample them very soon!

“Tou de france”
Reviewed 6 July 2014 via mobile

After watching the tour de france in Skipton we were enticed into this lovely cafe. All the staff were so friendly and looked like they loved to be working there. The food we had tasted as good as it was presented . Great visit and I'm going back the next time I visit Skipton. Thanks for a great end to to fantastic day

The staff are friendly and will remember you. The food is brilliant and is freshly made. Love the crumpets with homemade lemon curd. For something different come to coopers. Love the fact there is a studio and their Friday mornings where anything craft can be found in a relaxed manner.
