June 2013 - found this from the Internet in Skipton library hurriedly looking at B&Bs for the night's accommodation. Man answered the phone in a no-nonsense manner and 5 minutes later we were pedalling away towards Park Hill, about 10mins by bicycle from the centre of Skipton. That's a plus point - walking distance into town. Very clean and welcoming place, nice rooms, excellent unrushed breakfast, price reasonable. Couldn't ask for more. Definitely recommended. Places like this are what makes Britain great :)

I can only echo all the comments that I've read! Lovely warm welcome, a beautiful house and the accommodation was superb. I can't think of one negative thing to say. I stayed for one night whilst visiting family and would very happily stay again.

Very comfortable rooms. Bathroom is good size with a great shower. TV okay size. Wifi works well. Honesty system to purchase snacks and drinks. Breakfast was comprehensive including cooking from a menu. Off road parking. Would certainly stay again.

Stayed for one night on 22nd June 2013. We arrived well before the normal check in time but Anne was more than happy for us to use our room which was great as it meant we could unload and spend the day in Skipton itself. It is only a short walk into the centre. This B&B has all the little extras to make it superb. Small things such as fresh milk and water available, at no cost, and a full choice at breakfast too, all superbly cooked to order by Lindsay. Plenty of DVDs available too and the use of a pc if needed. We visited a local pub/restaurant The Craven Heifer which is also superb so all in all an excellent nights stay in Skipton. We would recommend this B&B to anyone.

This is the third time that we've stayed at Park Hill, and we will certainly be going again. Lindsay and Anne are very welcoming, and as other visitors have noted, there are many thoughtful touches that lift the B&B out of the ordinary. It's spotlessly clean, very comfortable and there is plenty of off road parking. Two of the rooms have a bath AND a shower - bliss for aching muscles after a long walk. And the sausages are the best I've ever eaten!

The B&B itself is on the Grassington Road, far enough out of the town to be really quiet, but close enough to walk into the town for food and drink. It's also very easy to get into the Dales themselves, being about 15 miles from Settle and Kettlewell.

There are other B&Bs in Skipton, but this is the best one by far!

We stayed for one night in May after going to a wedding at the nearby Bolton Abbey. The owners weren't in when we arrived but a quick call to the number left on the front door and I was given a code to a secuirty box and hey presto had a front door key to get in!

Room had some nice touches, like a full decantor of sherry and a good toiletries, there is also a fridge in the hall with beers, wine and cider that you can buy which is also really handy if you fancy a drink.

Althought we were there only briefly, the bed was really comfortable and the shower was great in the morning. Breakfast was good, and we enjoyed the communal table allowing us to have a chat with some of the other guests. All in all a lovely little b&b in a great spot for exploring the Dales.

Stayed one night Sunday 5th may. Lovely house just outside skip ton town centre, 10 minutes walk. Had the four poster room. It was extremely clean with a beautiful bathroom. All the lovely shampoos and lotions to use. I believe the owners were on holiday and their daughter was looking after the place. Excellent choices for breakfast. All cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, etc. we went for the full English breakfast, which was delicious and very filling. I would not hesitate to stay there again, should I be in the area.

Room Tip: We were in a back bedroom, no problem. Do not know if you would hear the traffic from the front room...
