“50th birthday party with friends! ”
Reviewed 15 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

What a fab, quirky place! Up on the hills, hidden from the road it has everything you need for a time out holiday! Rooms everywhere you look - it seemed to go on forever!! Fully equipped kitchen, loads of chill out (or party!) areas. Spectacular views too.

We had a fantastic time celebrating our good friends 50th birthday and this place was the perfect location and had amenities for all of us.

Recommend the dog & gun pub a couple of miles away too - amazing food!

“A stunning retreat”
Reviewed 11 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We used The Healthy Home to host my Lucyoga Yoga and Walking retreat at the end of August/start of September 2017. It is such a fabulous house. The rambling but spacious and well thought out buildings mean there is always somewhere to come together as a group, yet find some time and space to be alone.

I love how all the rooms are beautifully furnished and decorated; the views are incredible. And where else would you find room to sleep 12 and for us all to do yoga with an incredible view and oodles of natural light?

I love the energy of this house, which is so positive and calming. And the little details like Faith in Nature soap, shampoo and body wash in all the bathrooms and salt lamps and crystals throughout the house. As soon as you walk in you feel relaxed and at ease. The feedback from my guests was so positive - everyone loved their weekend at The Healthy Home.

“Fabulous house with wonderful views”
Reviewed 30 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We returned to the Healthy home for the 2nd time, for a long weekend with family. The house is ideal for large family gatherings... apart from the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, it has a large lounge area where you can all be together...and smaller seating areas where you can get space from each other!
Lovely gardens with wonderful views...and ideally positioned for exploring the area, long walks and bike rides.

“Fabulous Healthy House”
Reviewed 27 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

We've just spent a wonderful weekend at The Healthy House. We went as a family group of 7 adults and 2 children and all loved it. The rooms are all unique and the house has real character and is so relaxing. There are several large reception rooms as well as some smaller nooks and crannies so you can be sociable or have some peace! The views are breathtaking and instill a real sense off calm to the house. It's location is great. It's quiet and isolated but Skipton is 10/15 mins drive and has all the amenities you'd need plus some great pubs and restaurants. We are looking forward to visiting again soon. The owner and housekeepers are very amenable. The instructions sent prior to arrival are really informative, especially the photos to accompany the directions. Can't recommend enough!

“Fantastic family friendly home”
Reviewed 24 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

The location is amazing, on the edge of Skipton, close to the Yorkshire Dales but surrounded by beautiful contryside with best views ever! The house is two old stone cottages and a converted barn, so space is its greatest asset. Even with 14 of us and 3 generations, there were still secret places to hide away in, or join the noise and fun in the large family space in the barn. The garden is extensive and safe for small children with a great south facing patio. A few very small improvements would help, larger fridge, king size beds, but we would definitely stay again.

Thank you .... so glad you all had a good time and enjoyed your stay. We look forward to welcoming you back! Yes it is difficult in an old cottage to make room for modern king size beds and still have plenty of space to walk round. If we can add another king size in a larger room, we certainly will.
