All that the best reviews have recorded already we agree with.
Only difference being that this is a new and superior and even cosier yurt.
The crafted furnishings are perfectly chosen, both in style and function
We found that the photos we had seen did not do justice to the privacy, high standard of maintenance and magical nature of the site and accommodation.
The little magic touches to the visit are there to keep on discovering day by day.
In addition to the well packed "store" in the shed, do order yourselves a packed breakfast, you will feel even more loved with the home- made goodies on offer.
We loved the site in sunshine with the Zen garden to sit out in and birdsong all around
We loved it when raining, with the sound of raindrops on the canvas and the easily lit very effective little stove creating a truly cosy romantic experience. Wonderful for a surprise for a partner of any age! Already planning next visit!

My husband and I stayed in 'Gert's Yurt' for two nights recently. The location is very pretty, secluded and peaceful. The yurt is up a track through some woods from the main house, and has a 'Yurtmobile' close by containing very modern, clean kitchen and bathroom facilities. The kitchen has all the equipment you need to cook a proper meal - you need to bring ingredients with, though a pint of milk was provided to us on arrival and there was tea, coffee (instant) and salt and pepper. There's a little emergency store with an honesty box near the yurt for if you've forgotten something vital (juice, butter, bread, eggs etc.). The store also contains OS maps of the local areas, for guests to borrow. Bathroom-wise, the shower was fantastic and the water was nice and hot! There's a convenient motion-sensor light on the 'mobile which was very helpful for midnight peeing . . .

The yurt itself is very pretty, with painted furniture and patchwork-quilted bed. The little log stove gave out a fantastic cosy warmth and drove off the Welsh October dampness. At night it is very quiet, and you can hear the nearby stream. It's definitely worth staying in the yurt in the evening, making your own dinner and drinking something nice in front of the stove!

You can walk into town easily, to go to one of the pubs or restaurants, but do take a torch for getting back because the roads are BLACK at night! During the day we cycled to the National Botanical gardens (take the B-road route, the A is a hilly killer) and also went to Aberglasney Gardens, only a few miles away, which are beautiful. Lovely stay.

We have just returned from a week at the cottage with our two boys and we thoroughly enjoyed the accommodation which was well presented and had all we needed for the week. I particularly enjoyed falling asleep with the gentle sound of the stream which runs through the grounds. The boys enjoyed playing in the large private garden and a BBQ on the patio. Our hosts were most friendly and helpful, providing us with beans from the garden! There were plenty of things to do with a young family, Carreg Cennen Castle, Dinefwr House and some lovely eating places in Llandeilo - excellent local butchers Dewi Roberts! We look forward to returning.

My husband and I just returned from a weekend break at the farmhouse and it was absolutely fantastic. We were made to feel extremely welcome and wanted for nothing. It was honestly one of the best places we have ever stayed at. Surrounding countryside was stunning - a beautiful area. We will definitely be returning :-)

Just got back from a four nights stay in Gerts Yurt. Was really relaxing and peaceful in our own field with just horses for company. We were lucky with the weather and had a couple of bbqs outside the yurt. There was a bit of musty smell but its just the smoke from the burner, soon goes when door open. The yurt mobile is brilliant to have your own shower and kitchen.

We ate at Angel in LLandeilo -was very good i would recommend booking as we went back and couldn't get in even on a Wednesday! we went to the plough which was also good.

There wasn't much to do in in the immediate area, i would recommend Carreg Cennen castle though down the road. It is a good base for other places, went to Tenby which is lovely beach and town and also Llansteffan.

This was our first time staying in a Yurt and it was fantastic! Our hosts were very welcoming and had thought of everything! Cosy and comfortable with a wood burning stove, our yurt was finished to a high standard. Waterfall nearby was great. Really felt at peace here, sitting outside by a fire with the sound of the waterfall while enjoying a mug of hot chocolate, bliss! Would definatly recomend!

We stayed in the Waterfall Yurt, set in a private location, and as the name suggests next to a waterfall. The yurt was fantastic with double bed, sofa, wood burning fire, table & plenty of storage space. The Yurt Mobile next to the yurt exceeded all expectations with a fully functioning kitchenette and also a shower & compost toilet. Both were clean, private & with a balcony view of the waterfall, idyllic. This is outdoor living at its best!
