“Another amazing week on the farm!”
Reviewed 22 April 2018 for a stay in April 2018

We love this place, from the comfy well presented cottage to the fabulous Farmer Rob's feeding rounds. Add in the play area, castle and trampoline and your children won't want to explore the beautiful local area and when you do they will be asking what time your going back! We have visited 6 times now and I can not recommend it enough. Farmer Rob and Fiona are fantastic with the kids teaching them how to properly feed and look after the animals. This time even the cow delivered it's calf spot on time! See you next year the kids are on count down already!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and thank you so much for visiting us so frequently that you are now like family! We've enjoyed seeing your children change from babes in arms to independent confident children who love having fun and getting involved on the farm and making friends with other guests. (My admiration for the pig poo shovellers!) We've saved the dates for you next Easter and can't wait to see you all again for more fun and laughs.

“Nice stay”

We stayed for 3 nights towards the end of the easter half term, the coach house is very clean even with my high standards for cleanliness.2 adults 3 children from 2 to 17. The heating throughout was very good and warm as was the shower, there is also a bath for young children but take your own bathmat or toddler extras such as step up stools etc as they are not supplied. There are a few dvds and toddler friendly plates ,bowls, which came in handy. There was a stairgate supplied which we requested at the bottom of the stairs but the one at the top was a pain as you had to leave it on or completely take it off....a pain with older children coming up and down frequently. The bottle feeding of the lambs was pleasant and the park at the back was nice for the children which they enjoyed. The highchair i asked for wasnt supplied but we did manage without. The only thing that it does need in my opinion is a tumble dryer as if your stay is longer than a few days it would be essential. The negative is on the feeding rounds which we went to which was only on one occasion my 6yr old was a little nervous and shy of some of the animals and didnt want to take part with some of them and farmer rob wasnt sensitive what so ever and called my daughter a woos and a towney a few times, this is not a professional attitude to take and he should know better, surely he deals with lots of different children from all walks of life. We wer there to experience something different,if a child chooses not to take part in going into the pig pen etc then that is there choice and shouldnt be commented on making the child and parent feel awkward. Most disappointing and let the whole experience down

Thank you for your review and we are sorry there were aspects of your stay that disappointed but delighted that you loved others. In terms of the highchair, we are sorry there was not one on the booking confirmation but had you asked at anytime we could have brought one to the cottage for you. As described on our website and in pre arrival emails to our guests we are more than happy to supply additional equipment & have highchairs, bed sides, travel cots, toilet seats, steps, stair gates, fireguards, plastic plates, bowls, cups, cutlery and potties to save bringing extra equipment for toddlers. Bathmats are provided, as are towels and oven gloves and tea towels and any extras should just be requested. Check our website or confirmation for full details. We provide washing machines but not a tumble dryer in the cottage but there are airers and some cottages have radiators and there's a washing line in the garden. We will happily provide access to our laundry tumble drier as was offered and locally there is a large commercial tumble drier in the laundrette if required. They are happy to provide service washes so no need to wait and waste your holiday. We apologise that Rob caused discomfort to your daughter in the way he spoke with her. He wrongly considered he was having a laugh with her about not going in with the pigs and she had been poking her tongue out at him. He likes to joke with the children and parents and would never intentionally cause offence. As you were present as her chaperone it would have been good for you to have said something at the time and explain to him so she was not upset and he could have apologised. He is generally extremely well thought of by the children from toddlers to teenagers and parents alike and mentioned very fondly in reviews on Tripadvisor and other sites for his empathy and patience and families return year after year for Farmer Rob's Feeding Rounds. Again we apologise we did not live up to your expectations and thank you for your feedback.

“Excellent holiday!!”
Reviewed 30 March 2018 for a stay in March 2018

We recently stayed in the 2 bedroom Hayloft at Cwmcrwth Farm with our 20 month boy.
The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed, including stair gates at the top and bottom of the stairs for peace of mind.

The farm itself is lovely with a range of animals ready for a cuddle! Our boy loved going on the farmer's rounds in the morning, and having a donkey ride put the biggest smile on his face! We were lucky enough to meet a calf only born a few hours ago.

Rob and Fiona are very welcoming and made sure our stay was special.

We would love to come again in the future. I can't recommend Cwmcrwth holiday cottages enough!

“Excellent base for 3-generation family”
Reviewed 8 November 2017 for a stay in October 2017

These three cottages are excellent, and warm for cold autumn evenings; very good facilities in the cottage and grounds. Feeding the animals each day was well run, with full participation. Rob and Fiona were very helpful about good places to visit with small children. The Coop in Llandeilo, 5 miles away, is well stocked.

“Sophisticated, cosy and welcoming Wales, picture perfect surrounding and plenty of adventure to be had nearby”
Reviewed 16 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

This is one of the best places I've ever stayed out. First of all, the communication with Fiona was super easy, we'd had another host cancel on us so we had a very small window and Fiona could not have been more helpful. Then the actual space - WOW! It was such an open plan, yet cosy space and for us as a team, it was wonderful to have communal hang out space and yet the luxury of 2 bathrooms, a log burner and a well equipped kitchen. Fiona was even graceful with us about checking out, and we were able to stay a little longer. Now we've all been and experienced The Coach House and the wonderful farm around it, we are definitely hoping to return soon.

“Relaxing”
Reviewed 20 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

After an overnight flight from the US to London and three days in an expensive Westminster hotel with our 17 month old daughter, a week on the farm was perfect. Very friendly, relaxed atmoshere on a beautiful property. Rob and Fiona were very accomadating and super friendly, as well as a wealth of knowledge of the area, pig farming, etc. . Most of all our daughter had a blast, every day! We hope to come back some day. - Jade, Joanna & Juliet

“Fantastic farm stay”
Reviewed 20 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

We had such a great time! My almost three year old was quite besotted with Farmer Rob and loved following him around for the morning animal feed. The farm is well located for lots of great tourist attractions too. Accommodation was very comfortable and had everything you would need / expect. Loved that there were only 3 units there too - nice and quiet. Thanks Fiona and Rob!
