This is a beautiful country house, covered in ivy with extraordinarily friendly staff. It was rather nice to sit outside in the sun with a glass of chilled wine after a pleasant walk through the grounds. This is an old property so don't expect ultra-modern facilities, but it's clean, comfortable with a genteel feel.

The only negative was that the breakfast was not up to the same standard as the rest of the experience, which was why I didn't give it 5 stars.

What a hotel. Clad in ivy, this old country house is so perfect for a quiet spell amidst my hectic lifestyle. So relaxed, great staff, food and drink.
It's exactly as u would imagine... But without any pretence.
the gardens are spacious and beautiful.
I will be back!!!

I stayed at the tullylagan for two nights for a friends wedding . it's set in the country so not very close to anything. Cookstown is a good 10-15 minute drive away
The rooms were nice, they were slightly dated but they were very clean and comfortable and very spacious .
The hotel is very pretty inside and out with beautiful decor and architecture , a fantastic wedding venue.
Breakfast is a buffet with a wide variety of food available, hot food is all freshly cooked.
The staff were also very friendly and chatty and make you feel very welcome which was nice !
If I went back to cookstown I would probably stay here if I were on a relaxing break.

Hey, I visited your hotel last week and the hotel was lovely and the food was out of this world. The wedding was really well done and a lot of thought and effort was put in by all staff and management. Your bar staff are all so lovely and they really know how to make the guests welcome. Brendan or Brian (I think his name was Brian) was really kind and give us an insight into some of the local history and we made use of this the following day before our departure on Saturday. This is such a lovely spot in Northern Ireland and I would recommend anyone visiting to check it out. Unfortunately all the rooms were booked out and we stayed in the Glenavon Hotel in town. Though I heard the rooms were all lovely. Please visit this location. You will not be disappointed.
