One of the best B&B's we stayed at. The location was convenient for us as our main sights we wanted to visit was the Marble Arch Caves and the Giants Causeway, and this B&B is midpoint between the 2. The owners, Ailsa and Tom, are the nicest people and made us feel so welcomed. Everything about the B&B is clean (linens, towels, dining area). We highly recommend this B&B!

tom and ailsa were wonderful hosts when we stayed at their lovely home , because you really do feel at home . the room was big and clean , and the breakfast was fantastic . they treat my children like their own grandchildren ! the house is in beautiful rural tyrone , but near enough to the market town of cookstown , this is my favourite place on earth , made even more special by our stay at the avondale .

Situated between Dungannon and Cookstown, the Avondale provided a convenient stop off point for me in the heart of the country. As a business traveller this proved invaluable. The large recently extended property was very comfortable and hosted impeccably by Ailsa and Tom. The homely atmosphere (and large bed!) was always welcome after a long day driving around the country. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!

Many Thanks go out to Alisa and Tom McQueen for their hospitality. They are wonderful hosts with a warm and lovely home. I would recommend Avondale to anyone traveling this path (N2 I think it was) near to Cookstown. Easy access!

This B&B is highly recommended. It was situated in a quiet rural area yet not far from the town. The room provided was very spacious with a large bathroom ensuite. The furnishings were beautiful and the room was spotlessly clean. Our room was completely serviced each day. A generous breakfast was served in lovely surroundings. Our hosts helpfully provided information on the local area and anything else in which we expressed an interest. We were treated like family. This is the best B&B in which we have ever stayed.
