I would like to thank all the staff at the Clarion Hotel for making our weekend such a success. We held a Conference and pre conference reception over the first weekend in February, from the moment our guests arrived they were treated with the utmost respect and the staff could not have been friendlier. The service was great as was the food and the accommodation. I would like to say a special thank you to Lily and Dave, from I start orgainsing the Conference in September, Lily is fantastic, she caters to our every need and makes sure everything is in order, her organisation skills are superb and even at the last minute when changes had to be made nothing was ever a problem to her. As for Dave, what can I say, he was on duty with us from we arrived on Friday afternoon until we left on Sunday afternoon, he never left our sides and made sure that the whole weekend ran like clockwork, we had approx 200 people attend the Conference and Dave made sure each and everyone enjoyed the day. He stepped in as MC and did whatever was asked of him, nothing was a problem. Therefore a massive thank you to the general manager, Mrs Stephen Carson and his team at the hotel, we look forward to next years stay.

The staff were excellent, helpful and friendly. However I expect more then 5 TV channels from a three star hotel. The fact that 4 of the channels were unviewable made it even worse.

To be told that the signal is poor because it was cold was unforgivable.

I will not be staying here anymore

Stayed here for one night for my cousins wedding. The food was impressive and the bar had a good selection of whiskeys along with other beverages. On check in we realised we had booked a double and asked to change to a twin which was no problem. Rooms were in need of a redecoration although it wasn't really an issue as the clan room and comfortable bed more than made up for this. We stayed in room 203.

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding which was fabulous. The room we had was facing the sea so great view ,The room itself was spacious and nicely done out, very clean and very helpful staff esp. the girls in the salon who were great . Oh and 1 thing about this hotel is that you will never be cold because the first thing you notice will be the heat ..lol still better than the cold .

Room Tip: we only eat in the resaurant but if that standard is anything to go by, the room will all be fine

i have just returned from the clarion hotel where we attended a wedding. the rooms where clean and big enough for myself and my husband. breakfast was great eat as much as you want, we also went to the red pepper restraunt for dinner and were quite impressed with the service and food. overall i would say this hotel is a good venue for a wedding however I do need to say I felt the manager davie was a bit overpowering , I am all for being friendly but I felt he lost a bit of professionalism along the way which was a shame. We were in room 310 which was very noisy as it was at the start of the corridor which meant everyone had to walk by your room. I would go again. the bride and groom had few problems with ine receptionist who was a bit awkward with the florist and also found the honeymoon suite really cold and porly maintained.

Dear LittlesEdinburgh,

I am pleased that overall you found the Clarion Hotel, Carrickfergus to be a good wedding venue and that you found your room to be clean and spacious.

We are honoured to have hosted 317 Wedding Receptions in 2012 and this is the first time we have received a negative comment about our Bridal Suite which is extremely spacious and comfortable and generously equipped with extras including a Jacuzzi Bath and is supplied complimentary to all our Wedding Couples.

Kind Regards,

Stephen
