Great 2 bed, 2 bath apartment right on the Marina. Close to all amenities especially bars and restaurants. Highly recommend this if staying in Carrickfergus-we are already planning to go back next year.
The apartment is well equipped with everything necessary provided for a comfortable stay. It is conveniently situated on the ground floor thus there is no lugging luggage upstairs. All local amenities such as supermarkets and cinema are all within easy walking distance and Belfast is an easy bus or train ride away. Carrickfergus is the perfect place from which to explore all that Northern Ireland has to offer. We were first time visitors and to say we were impressed is putting it mildly.
A lovely quite location, well served by nearby restaurants, a cinema, a supermarket and ideally situated for exploring the beautiful countryside and Causeway coastal region or the bustling city of Belfast.
We stayed three nights (two adults and two teenage daughters) and were delighted with this apartment. Quiet location by the marina, but just a short walk to Carrickfergus Castle and the historic town centre. We were travelling without a car, but had no problems using the apartment as a base to explore Belfast and Co. Antrim; Carrickfergus station is a ten-minute walk, with a frequent and reliable train service. A well-equipped kitchen and a nearby Sainsbury's means you can cook in the apartment, but there are also plenty of places to eat out. Friendly and welcoming owners. We thought this apartment was great value for money.
We had a warm welcome on our arrival, and everything was there for the start of our holiday. The apartment was clean and nicely appointed. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The harbour area and castle are great for walking round. Belfast and the North Antrim coast are easy to get to. We had a lovely stay.
Very warm welcome on arrival. The house contained everything we required for a comfortable stay with a good selection of restaurants within easy walking distance. Carrickfergus is a great base from which to explore Northern Ireland.
