Stayed 1 night here and couldn't compliment the staff enough, so friendly and helpful. Hotel is absolutely prefect, exactly what you'd expect from a Premier Inn, comfy bed, clean, basic but very nice. It's in a lovely location and Carrick seems like a lovely town. We ate in the Brewer's Fare and food was good, again basic but perfectly fine. There's a sainsburys across the road with a nice cafe for breakfast, ulster fry for 3.90, but not open until late on Sunday. 15mins into Titanic quarter which is fantastic and well worth a visit if you have a few hrs. Will definitely be back.

This Premier Inn is located right on the loughside overlooking Belfast Lough, next to the yacht club,
we had a room on the second floor overlooking to lough and you could watch all the ships and boats going by. The hotel is clean and comfortable with very friendly helpful staff that go the extra mile. The breakfast is good value and the evening meal is also good value Brewers Faye with a change of theme every night

Room Tip: Asl for a room overlooking the lough with a sea view.

The Premier Inn in Carrickfergus is much like any other Premier Inn, since they all follow a formula. The room was small, but adequate and clean. The hotel is well situated on the newish marina area which has a few other restaurants and is directly across the bay from the Castle. There is also a small mall nearby with a grocery store and other restaurants. There is an excellent view from outside the hotel of the castle. Views from inside the hotel are of the parking lot. It is also withing walking distance of the train station (10min) and pretty well everything else in the small town of Carrickfergus. The train from Belfast provides regular suburban train type service to the town. It only takes about 30-40 min by train from Belfast centre to Carrickfergus. Service at the hotel was very friendly and helpful, both in the restaurant and at the desk. Breakfast was good but basic, and not expensive. There are several nice tea shops and cafes in the main shopping area of the town.

Overall, it was a good place to stay and excellent value.
