Located just a five minute walk from the cliffs overlooking the Causeway, this superb B&B is ideally situated for exploring the north eastern coastal area. Maureen & Don are warm, welcoming, kind and helpful hosts who gave us lots of ideas for places to visit, including some off the beaten track. They also recommended wonderful places to eat! Our room was spacious, modern and spotlessly clean and the comfy beds were welcome after our long day on the road. Breakfast was delicious with a huge variety to choose from and kept us going until afternoon tea! We were highly impressed with Ardtrabane House, it is excellent value for money and offers a very high standard of accommodation. Thanks again to Maureen & Don for a wonderful start to our adventure.

Accommodations at Ardtrabane House are impeccable - nicely decorated, spotlessly clean, with lots of thoughtful touches for guests. The breakfast was the best we had during our entire vacation and the owners were helpful and fun to talk to and learn from. But, the best part was the location! We simply walked out the front door of the house, up the street about 20 yards and then followed a path through a farmer's field to the top of the cliffs that overlook Giant's Causeway. From there, we followed the path along the cliff tops for about 100 yards until we came to stone stairs that led down to the ocean - it was an exhillerating walk and so much more fun than walking from the Giant's Causeway visitor's center. We took the walk at 8:30 at night -- at Maureen's suggestion. There were no crowds at the Causeway at that time. We even had the luck to see a seal come right up to the rocks. Visiting Giant's Causeway was the highlight of our tour of Ireland and staying at Ardtrabane House contributed to our exciting, yet relaxing, adventure.

Booked Ardtrabane House for our third time in the last four years and again we were not disappointed with the warm welcome from Don and Maureen excellent food and superb accomodation not to mention the fantastic view all the way to Portrush as we enjoyed a hearty breakfast every morning. This quiet location is only a short walk from the Giants causeway and a few minutes drive from Ballintoy, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge in one direction and Bushmills Portballintrae Portrush and Portstewart going the other way. We would definately recomend this B & B to anyone visiting the North Antrim coast.

Room Tip: All rooms excellent views

Do yourself a favour, if you go to see the Giants Causeway, do two things: 1) stay at Ardtrabane House and 2) order the pancakes!

Stayed with my family at Ardtrabane House while touring the east coast of Northern Ireland. Don and Maureen were very welcoming and did everything they could to make us feel at home. They also cook one hell of a breakfast! Make sure you're up in time because it is not to be missed. Great selection of fruit, cerial, tea, coffee, frys, pancakes, waffles, the list continues!

Room was spotless, very comfortable bed, and free wifi throughout the house.

As we were leaving Maureen gave us ireland tea towels as a parting gift! What a lovely thought to finish a lovely stay...
