I have to admit, I feel lucky thah we chose "Lismar" B&B - couldn't be any better. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay. We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Hugh and Margaret for their hospitality during our stay.Thank you for your help in regard to places of interest we wanted to visit. The facilities were so clean and looked after, the breakfast was always freshly cooked and delicious. Hugh and Margaret you made our stay unforgettable! Thank you! All the best! Hope to see you again! Siyana and Dimitar

Hugh and Margaret's home is very pretty and kept very clean. The home-cooked breakfasts are also fantastic - a full Irish breakfast, which at first seems to be way too much for a morning meal, but if you plan on going hiking or biking around the coast (which you must do if you are in Bushmills, as the coastline is spectacular), the meal proves quite adequate for the calories you'll burn during the day! Our room was in the upstairs corner, so very quiet and private, and was nicely supplied with a tv, books, nightstands, and a lovely window to see the coast in the distance, and the bathroom was spotless and supplied with lovely smelling soaps and shampoos. The wi-fi worked fine downstairs but it was a litte spotty in our room, probably because we were too far from the signal. But Hugh & Margaret definitely add an element to this B&B that you won't find elsewhere. They are very generous and everyone in town seems to know them, so they won't steer you wrong with their tips and suggestions. Would definitely return here again if ever we have chance to return to Bushmills. Just a 5-10 min walk into town and right past the Old Bushmills distillery.

I stayed at Lismar for one night as a single traveller on business. I received a warm welcome and my en suite room was as luxurious as any hotel room, ver well decorated and appointed. Comfortable double bed, tea/coffee, water and herbal tea provided ( a nice touch, the herbal tea !). Spacious shower with lots of hot water, good quality toiletries provided. All of these add to an excellent visitor experience. Ideal for anyone visiting Busmills Distillery, Giant's Causeway or Dunluce Castle. Great value for money.

My brother and I spent a few nights at Lismar in May and thoroughly enjoyed the location and the atmosphere. The room was clean, bright, and lovely. The breakfast was incredibly filling and rich! One morning, we ate all that we could of the breakfast and then Hugh drove us to the Carrick a Rede rope bridge and we walked back. That breakfast carried us through all of those miles! Hugh and Margaret were incredibly helpful with tips and information and genuinely made sure we had a good time in Bushmills. I'd go back again and I intend to someday!

The pricing was comparably cheaper than other places in Bushmills. It is really close to the downtown (around 10 minutes) and literally minutes away from the distillery. Also, public transportation to and from Bushmills was really easy to work out! Very cheap.

I spent three nights with Margaret and Hugh at their very comfortable, clean, modern B&B just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Bushmills. The breakfasts were large, very tasty and perfectly adequate, and actually set me up for the entire day, despite me walking a lot. I went on a solo holiday and planned to walk a lot and take in all the local scenery. Margaret and Hugh were friendly, approachable, and very helpful in sharing local knowledge with me. Bushmills is an ideal location as a base, in order to explore all the local areas of beauty, and if like me you need to also use public buses from time to time - they run easily to and from the village and along the Causeway coastal route. This was my first time to Northern Ireland, and I thoroughly enjoyed it - I cant wait to return!

Our "aerie" room was most comfortable and extremely clean. Margaret and Hugh were very accommodating, providing delicious breakfast. We were within walking distance of town, and central location to visit the local sites. There are many!!!

Room Tip: We enjoyed looking over the rooftops.

Spent 2 nights with another couple that have never been to Northern Ireland before and to have picked such a great place to stay we certainly feel as if we made a very wise choice.
The whole house is spotless and the bedrooms are extremely comfortable with very nice en- suites.
The breakfast was very good and so obviously freshly cooked - unike some we have had.
The accomodation is ideally placed for all the local attractions and is closer enough to Bushmills town that a car is not a necessity for an evening pint !
Hugh and Margaret are a very friendly couple who gave us some good advice as when to visit certain places - for instance Hugh looked up when low tide was at the Giants Causeway.
We had a puncture in the hire car whilst we were there and Hugh even rang his local garage on Sunday morning to find out if it could be repaired - they couldn't do it but Hugh told us about another place that was only 5 minutes away that did the repair and we were soon on our way.
In summary a very good place to stay with superb food, very comfortable spotlessly clean rooms and excellent hosts.
Give a try you wont regret it, we certainly didn't !!!
