Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is graciously decorated, and our room was very pleasant, with a view of the sea. Best of all, the location couldn't be better for visiting the Giants Causeway, because the Visitors' Centre is next to the hotel car park, and it is literally just a short walk from the hotel to the Causeway itself. In fact, on the recommendation of one of the staff, we walked down to the Causeway after dinner to see it under the stars -- magic! We're looking forward to coming back for another stay at this lovely hotel soon.

Such a wonderful location beside The Giants Causeway and close to the magnificent Antrim Coast. Hotel staff were all most helpful and friendly and breakfasts were freshly cooked - such a welcome change from the ubiquitous buffet! Very good value with Living Social voucher.

This is an excellent hotel and in my mind its best asset is the staff. I can honestly say I have never met a friendlier or more helpful group of people. Full marks to everyone, we had a wonderful time ...loved the decor, the fabulous food and ideal location. Its a must for anyone visiting the North Coast. Hope to stay again very soon! Thanks to everyone!

we stayed for two nights on a living social deal. What a treat! The hotel, while old has been refurbished and is spotless. The staff were great - helpful and friendly. The ladies on reception welcomed us like old friends each time we saw them. They were helpful and accommodating. The breakfasts were excellent and catered for all tastes. We had dinner on one night. The restaurant was very busy but were treated as if we were the only customers. The staff were there when needed. The y knew the menu and the specials and one young man went the extra mile to ensure my wife got a risotto meal when it was thought all were sold. The wine was very reasonably priced and perhaps underpriced - a nice Sancerre for £20 - very acceptable. The staff were mostly young folk but all had personality and charm and were able to engage in conversation with interest and knowledge. a delight.
Some people criticise the National Trust but if this is their normal standard get me a membership form. Congratulations to the manager of the hotel. He has a first class establishment and a first class staff offering top quality service.

Room Tip: try for a sea view room

Just back from a 2 day Living Social Deal... All I can say is what a fabulous hotel and what friendly staff. Lee, the manager, could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Both Naomi and Louise on the desk were so welcoming and Naomi went out of her way to obtain a map for us.
The whole experience was so relaxing. The comfy settees in the bar area, great Guinness and newspapers were a perfect combination. We loved the fact there were no TVs in the bar too! The food was excellent and great value for money. This was true of both the breakfast and dinner in the beautiful Parlour Room. The portions were huge.
The hotel is perfectly situated to enjoy beautiful walks around the Giants Causeway without the need to get in the car after arrival.
We will be back. We thoroughly recommend the hotel and praise to the staff for their efficiency and friendliness. It was a thoroughly lovely experience from start to finish.

Room Tip: Rooms 30-32 have balconies with a beautiful sea view.
