The best time to see the Giants Causeway is in the evening when all the crowds have gone, A couple of weeks ago we popped into the bar for a drink and snack, very attentive service in a traditional and comfortable environment, more homely and atmospheric than the dining room which was not at all welcoming when we called in and made enquires a few hours earlier.

stayed here last weekend have stayed several times had a lovely room 28. Although 30 and 31 are better very comfortable. We were on. B&B as we were eating in bushmills the breakfast was lovely my partner having the scrambled egg and salmon.Staff very good. Only downfall there is no atmosphere in the bar and unfortunately the singer was poor the entertainment in the bushmills inn is far better and it's not far to go for a good night Diane.

Room tip: Rooms. 28/30/31/

This hotel is in the perfect location to explore the Giant's Causeway and the North Coast, and is run by the National Trust so access to the Giant's Causeway Visitor Centre is free for guests. The views are fantastic and the staff are warm and friendly. The rooms are spacious but nothing special - rooms in the original hotel are nicer but smaller, rooms in the new section have good views but not much character. Food is good pub food standard with huge portions, breakfast is average.

We stayed here for 1 night in January. The decor has been ungraded the general areas and rooms look lovely and are very comfortable especially the bed. The toilets however are a let down more like church hall toilets than a nice hotel. The bar area is very comfortable but could do with something to liven the place up at the weekend eg someone playing a guitar? The room was cold especially the bathroom which has no heating at all - remember how exposed on the North Coast this hotel is. The staff are helpful (especially Louise) and did put on heating when asked but it didn't help very much.

Great great location. After a long drive and wanting to see the Giants Causeway - what better place to stay than at a hotel right next door to the Causeway Center. Hotel is old fashioned and fits into it's surrounds well. Rooms are big with good size en suite with bath. We had a 2nd door to the rear of our room onto our own terrace overlooking the sea. Very comfortable room and great sleep. Double + Single beds in the room for the 3 of us.

We had dinner and breakfast here and were happy with both meals. So very close to the Giants Causeway, Visitors Center and so so easy to start walking on any of the trails around the causeway as they are right outside the hotel. Free entrance into the Causeway Center next door included with the room rate.
