I booked here for my boyfriends birthday. The rooms were very spacious and spotless. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was nice but nothing special for the price if it, quite expensive. I had requested for a candle in my boyfriends dessert and I was assured this would be ok, but the dessert came out with no candle. I was very disappointed because I really only ordered a dessert for thus reason. We enjoyed a few cocktails in the bar. Service was ok but pretty slow. All in all a pleasant stay but could have been better for the price.

Recently stayed at this hotel and found that their customer service was not satisfactory. We paid for a deluxe room but on arrival we were given a standard room, the desk clerk refused to make any room or monetary adjustment. Would not recommend this location, front desk staff was rude and not customer friendly.

It was our first time visiting, its our anniversary, we had a truly unforgettable stay. From check in to check out, everything was perfect! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the menus were mouth watering to read and the food was even better than expected! The hotel its self is beautiful! I can honestly not recommend it enough! We can't wait until our next visit!

Good location if you're touring Causeway Coast or visiting Giants Causeway. Spacious and really nicely appointed room with large and comfortable bed. Contrary to some reviews, we thought the food was excellent; the tasting dish main course and the chocolate fondant and homemade ice-cream were outstanding. Breakfast substantial and service throughout faultless. Expensive, but worth the extra; no question. Be careful; it's necessary to book dinner in advance at busy times; being a guest doesn't guarantee a table when you might want it. Great bar with nooks and crannies. Only small complaint would be that the middle-aged band playing Irish folk music were clearly talented but deadly dull, as witnessed by them having a chat between numbers and only two of them getting stuck in and drinking Guinness....

We arrived at Bushmills Inn mid afternoon and were warmly welcomed by their helpful staff. The place is lovely and our (spacious) room was gorgeous with everything impeccably prepared for our arrival. Upon check-in we made reservations for dinner in the dinning room and we were so glad we did. The food was delicious and the service there perfect. If you are fortunate enough to spend a night or two here stay up and spend some time in the pub. The live music the night we were there was probably some of the best we heard in all of our 3 weeks of touring Ireland and we went to many, many pubs with "traditional" music. The musicians playing at Bushmill were wonderful making for a joyous evening! A gem of Ireland!

Room Tip: Our room overlooked the countryside (Room 106)

Often used phrase but never more apt. Charming place, good service levels, turf fires and gas lamps, but let down by average food and non air conditioned rooms. I may be a bit unfair to Bushmills here. On a journey up the Antrim coast I found the absence of quality food pubs/restaurants remarkable. Compared to South and West coasts, no seafood emporiums, bistros, inns. Just the odd hotel of varying vintages with no great effort at marketing themselves. In the valley of the blind the one eyed man is king. Enter Bushmills Inn.

Room Tip: Ask for a fan, it helps.

As loyal followers of the Karen Brown travel guides, we found Bushmills Inn as one of the few recommendations in Northern Ireland, so planned a two night stay as our base for the local attractions of the Antrim coast. While the comfortable 4-poster beds and sitting area are important parts of the room, it was the small details that make me give this Inn the highest marks...a convenient switch for a bathroom night light by both sides of the bed, a changing closet with small refrigerator, an espresso machine in the room, comfortable tub with shower attachment and a lovely shower as well in the well lighted bathroom. Deserving of its Blue Book status.

Room Tip: Spring for the newer rooms with the 4-poster beds.
