Owner description: The Causeway Coastal Route is a designated scenic tourist drive around the coast of Northern Ireland between the cities of Belfast and Londonderry. The route follows the coast and takes you to several major tourist attractions along the way including The Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Dunluce Castle, The Old Bushmills Whiskey Distillery and the Glens of Antrim. There are also nine scenic loop roads that run off the main Coastal Route. These are: Islandmagee, Slemish Mountain, Glenariff, Glendun, Torr Road, Glenshesk, Bann Valley, Binevenagh Mountain and the Roe Vally. One of these (Torr Scenic Road)is quite narrow so do be careful if your not used to our small roads, one tip is to pull in your wing mirrors on the Torr Road.

“simply stunning and breathtaking road!!!!”
Reviewed 12 June 2014

This area of Northern Ireland is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen!!! This curvy, often cliff-hugging road offers spectacular views of the coast and offshore islands (including a view of Scotland on a clear and sunny day). Some spots where you can walk out on promontories for dizzying perspectives (for example, at Torr Head). Driving along the Causeway Coastal Route make sure you also take the "scenic routes" along the way (signposted!), where only smaller cars are allowed (no buses, caravans nor coaches), these routes offer you the most spectacular landscape and scenery you've ever seen in your life!
