Strategically located on the top of a hill outside Bushmills, this B&B offers a breathtaking view of the countrysuide with the sea on the horizon. It even has a stream on one side of the courtyard, with a little waterfall in it. If you are a good walker it takes about 30 mins from Bushmills city centre, but maybe it is better to use a car or a taxi to reach it.
There are only two rooms, one for a copule and one for a family. The inside is really well furnished and decorated in a country chic manner: in our room there were even two armchairs with a table between them. The bathroom is really well furnished as well, and everywhere there is enough space for people and luggage. Everything is quiet, tidy and clean.
Breakfast is really rich in both quantity and quality, variyng from continental to Ulster fry and more.
Nevertheless, the very best part of the stay is the staff. Gail is a very friendly host: she is always present and ready to help in every way it's possible, with a contagious smile and a kind and pleasant attitude. Each room has a book that illustrates the most important surrounding attractions and the best way to reach them. There's also the possibility to hire a bike for a very convenient price!
Excellent value for money! We stayed only for two night, but we hoped we could stay much longer!

Gail was very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much bother. She suggested places to visit and eat. The room was large, very clean and well appointed. The B&B is well placed for visits to The Giants Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede rope bride, Bushmills distillery and Portballintrae.

Our host Gail was friendly and welcoming. The b and b room was large, clean and well appointed. A good selection of food for breakfast. Gail was informative about the local attractions and eating places. Wifi was also a bonus.

We chose Rest a while on a whim while on a road trip throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. It was a Great decision! The owner is super friendly and knows the surrounding area well. We arrived later than expected after a long day of scenic driving, so we were hungry and really wanted a place to unwind. She gave us great recommendations on where to grab a late night snack and a pint, which was exactly what we needed! The following morning, we were treated to an incredible breakfast (more food than you can possibly eat!) which kept us full straight through to late afternoon. The location of the B&B is excellent - it's on a quite road overlooking a beautiful green field, and is around the corner from the Bushmill's distillery and just a few minutes drive from the Giant's Causeway. Both of which are must-visit attractions!

Gail was very accommodating for both the booking itself and our stay. Our room was lovely, very clean and a decent sized bathroom. Excellent location for giants causeway, dunluce castle etc. The breakfast was great too. Highly recommended!
