Just back from spending 2 nights with Tim and Ethy, what a great place to stay. It is a quirky, comfortable home and they could not have been friendlier. Great location, fab breakfast, comfy beds, lovely seating area to relax and chat and plenty of dvds to keep the kids entertained. Next time we visit Belfast we will stay again..

Last week i stayed at the Abbeydene House for one night. On arrival i received a warm welcome by the owners. The house is built in the 19th century and just looks great.
The room was clean and very spacious. The decor was very romantic and had all the modern conviences you need. The doublebed was good as was the bathroom with a nice powerfull shower.
Allthough i travelled alone, i think it's also very suitable for a romantic weekend especially if you don't want to stay in Belfast City Centry but close by.
The Guesthouse has it's own private parking spaces which makes it also very convenient for people travelling with a car.
i did not have breakfast so can't comment on that.

We have just arrived back in Australia from holidays and just wanted to acknowledge the fantastic stay we had with Ethy and Tim. Such a friendly couple, they helped us with a lot of local knowledge and nothing was too much trouble. We will never forget our stay, your home was just something to behold, the accommodation, food and surroundings perfect. Thank you so much for looking after us.

Room Tip: It wouldn't matter which room you stayed in, they all have great atmosphere

This delightful B&B offers so much and then some more! Hosts Tim & Lithy have gone out of their way to provide absolutely everything, from beautifully apportioned rooms, an enormous DVD collection, amenities plus plus, a great breakfast and if you've forgotten something it probably can be found here! Off street parking in a quiet area about 5 miles north of Belfast! I thoroughly recommend this amazing establishment! You won't be disappointed!

Room Tip: All rooms are I expect as good as each other! There are rooms on 3 floors!

Very friendly hosts. A charming old house on a quiet road. Very modern. The breakfast was very tasty and served hot. The bedroom was large and the bed comfortable. We would return in the future. Close to the airport and bElfast

Room Tip: There is no swimming pool and fitness centre--had to put in some rating for review to be accepted

Tim and Ethy run a brilliant guesthouse here for a fraction of the price of some of the nearby hotels and with a service and friendliness that's second to none. They made me feel so welcome and were so accomodating. With and interest in music there is a lot of memorabilia around that's very interesting and with about 3 bookcases full of DVDs and a list of every title in a book in each room you won't have to look far for a good film, well worth the stay if your passing through.

We arrived in Belfast and were looking for accommodation for 3 nights and luckily the tourist bureau suggested Abbeydene House. Tim and Ethy did all that they could to make us comfortable and said we were to consider it our "home" for the next 3 days. Well, I don't live in such luxury with my every need catered for. Breakfasts were terrific and Tim always joined us for a chatafter he'd cooked the breakfast. If your looking for a b & b that is luxerious at an economical price then this is the place for you! Thanks for everything Tim and Ethy.
