“Nice stay for what we needed.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 July 2014

This was a one night stop in a 13 day tour. I was concerned when we pulled up with 35 people in our group. The location is not good but we were tired and didn't want to go out anyway. The bar/restaurant were expecting our group so they had a meal ready. They served us a three course meal that was excellent! The atmosphere was what I would have expected in Ireland and was perfect. We watched the final soccer match that evening at the bar. The rooms are what you pay for but the water pressure was great and the bed was comfortable. If you are looking for 5 star accommodations, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a place to spend the night at a reasonable rate, good food and friendly staff then you found it. I would stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel & would definitely stay here again if I come back to this area. The bed was comfortable & the price for my stay there was reasonable. The food & service in the restaurant was excellent!

No kerb appeal and inside lives up to the view from the road! Needs a full refurbishment - staff are helpful but the overall ambiance is awful. It also has a dreadful 'local reputation' so if you are thinking of it as a business venue, you will not enhance your own reputation by holding an event here.

Firstyly, price was good - we got 3 rooms for 5 of us - £105. Also location is good for the airport and also close to Belfast. Rooms are a good size and clean and comfortbale. Staff are friendly, we had a couple of drinks in the bar but did not try the food. After price and comfort the two most important things I look for in a hotel are shower and wi-fi. After a long drive I always look forward to a good showere and unfortunately the shower was the least powerful i have ever experienced (my son in a different room had the same problem). Also, the hotel advertises free wi-fi but this was not working the night we stayed - it was said to the rception by us and at least one other person but they did not seem to know what was wrong.

Had a 3 night stay in the chimney corner, it is a friendly budget hotel with clean rooms including a trouser press, there is also a laundry room for guests with an iron etc, staff are not banging the door first thing so you can have a lie in when needed, would def recommend and will be staying again next time we come over to Belfast. Also breakfast for a fiver.

awful - needs updating badly - very run down and neglected and needs a lot of TLC. It's obviously seen better days but the decor is old fashioned and the outside appearance sums up the hotel when you enter.

For my husband's birthday, I booked one night at The Chimney Corner Hotel. We had a lovely stay, the hotel is a little dated but very clean. Staff are polite & helpful. Dinner was delicious & reasonably priced. No complaints, we were very impressed. Over all a very relaxing & pleasant stay. We will be back! :)
