Nice, clean place with great breakfast. Owner met us there in 5 minutes after we called him. We had no reservations. Food and music steps away. Harry's is great seafood restaurant next door. The Glens is a beautiful area.

We stayed here for five nights on a break after Christmas. The friendly village of Cushendall was recommended in my guide book as a good location for anyone wishing to enjoy the scenic beauty of the Glens of Antrim and we weren't disappointed. The Village B & B was a great choice on the main street, (Mill Street). Alec, the owner, was welcoming and very accommodating. The bedrooms were warm and comfortable with good hot showers. Tasty breakfast was provided. Even though the bedrooms overlooked the street we heard no noise at night. There is a comfortable television room downstairs. Free WiFi. The B & B is across the road from the traditional pub, McCollums, which should not be missed. Good restaurants are also beside the B & B so no need to drive at night.

We stayed for one night on New Years night.
This is in the Main Street.
The best pub is 12 paces across the street.
The bedroom was immaculate, modern, quiet and well priced.

The owner was more than accommodating as it was New Years night and he had no one staying but he still came to meet us , let us in , show us around and then turned up bright and early to make breakfast for us ( only 2 of us there).

The breakfast was brilliant and would set anyone up for a day ahead.

Thank you

Room Tip: Top floor - 3 floors up - very quiet

This is a really lovely B & B right in the heart of Cushendall. The room was very comfortable, loads of hot water, and the breakfast (and coffee!) is fab. Alex is a very welcoming host. The B & B is in the middle of the main street, so you can walk wherever you need to go!

Myself and friends had Alex's place to ourselves on Friday and Saturday given that our Robin Hood's Bay musician friends Jim and Ann were over for a visit. The B&B is in the centre of the village directly across from McCollsms Bar....Johnny Joe's...Where we would be playing.

Alex is the perfect Fear an Tí, making all welcome and joining in the craic. The place is perfect for touring the Glens and North Coast so ...after a great session on Friday night.. we proceeded through Ballycastle to Ballintoy, to Bushmills where we ate in the Bushmills Inn before doing a tour of the Bushmills Distillery. On the way we passed Torr Head, Carrickarede and the rope bridge, Whitepark Bay and the Causeway....all in glorious weather.

After our journey we got back to Alex's for him and the Margarets to feed us ...gratis....with great stew, Wheaten bread and a gateau dessert before the birthday cake was brought out for Jim who turns 60 this week. All washed down with copious amounts of red and sparkling Chardonnay!

We retired across the road for another music session before coming back to the b and b where we played music until the wee hours.....having the place to ourselves. There was no disturbance to guests or neighbours!!! Gentle songs and great fiddle and guitar playing ....with a bit o mandolin chucked in.

All of our company had a wonderful time....yet again thanks to Alex and the girls!!!!

Back shortly!!!!!

Stayed with my wife at the Village B&B in Cushendall. From our arrival Margaret, Alex and Maggie made us feel at home. The location of the Village B&B was perfect for exploring both locally and further afield with Johnny Joes restaurant and all round good craic Irish pub across the road, the green glens of Antrim surrounding the town and The Giants Causeway a stones throw away...Alex, Margaret and Maggie were perfect hosts! The breakfast made by Alex himself was famous around the town (after speaking to some locals) and with excellent reason!! All parts of the breakfast was as fresh as you can get...Our room was spotless, full of character and the bed was as comfortable as a cloud. Without a doubt, I would recommend The Village B&B to anyone, anytime and I am counting the days until we return.

Room Tip: Relax and plan your day in the very comfortable lounge after a lovely full Breakfast...

Very nice, comfy, loving details and great breakfast! Thank you!
Just across the street is a nice pub with many small rooms where locals bring their instruments and play music. We had a great time and could once again enjoy Irish hospitality.
