Stayed for 1 night and must say the staff were first class and very welcoming. Quick and easy checkin service and everything went smooth. Room was clean and tidy. The bar has a good atmosphere and an open fire burning. They show live sporting events. It is located on the main street in portrush and perfect for exploring the area. Will definitely return.

Lovely friendly staff. Lovely reception and bar area.

Hall and stairs leading to bedrooms are old fashioned and narrow. Double fire doors ackward to maneovre thru with luggage but in fairness reception did offer us help with luggage.

We had 2 rooms beside each other. A twin with very large double (comfy) and a tiny single bed which had seen better days. Room was clean however there was a broken biscuit in the drawer. The other single room had a good size double but this was uncomfortable.

The kitchen closed at 7.30 which was too early so we didnt have dinner. Breakfast was lovely.

Twin and single room were £90 b&b so we cldnt complain. It was cheap and clean however i dont think we wld stay there again.

very disappointed in my stay, our room was very dated, toilet didn't flush properly, radiator only half heat so room absolutely freezing, beds uncomfortable, need to upgrade hairdryers with more powerful ones. i did enjoy my meal in the bar, also breakfast fine with pleasant enough staff, the noise coming from the karaoke was very loud and went on into the early hours. The shower is not powerful enough and took 10 mins for hot water to come through, better quality toilet paper also needed.

A recent one night stay here on 25/2/2014 was memorable for the wrong reasons.Rooms dated, and small, stairs really steep but the biggest thing was the supposedly DOUBLE bed which was only a 4ft one it was so uncomfortable didnt sleep a wink.Breakfast was edible if you like your food deep fried.Plenty of nicer places for the same rate in Portrush. We def will not re-visit

it wasn't until my recent visit within portrush I forgot to write a review on this hotel.
Stayed in this hotel last summer for a weekend getaway with my partner and son.
Their is no elevator which was disappointing, trying to get a tired two year old up several flights of stairs is hard enough especially when you have to leave you buggie in a cramped hallway for anyone to claim.

Rooms - outdated, unclean, growing damp.

Breakfast- edible ( if really hungry)

Staff - unwelcoming.

Won't be back, this hotel is suited for those without children.
Anyone on a basic budget and who doesn't have positive expectations.

We stayed for one night as a last minute booking and were delighted with what we received. We had previously stayed in the port and had mixed views on the place but have to say this was a vast improvement on our last stay. We had a beautiful meal in the port which was fantastic value, then moved to the bar to enjoy a few cocktails of the new menu.
Wonderful time can't wait to get back.

Cruising through the rural parts of Northern Ireland we came across this little hotel and it was exactly what we needed for the night. Conveniently near Giant's Causeway. We had a good family room with coffee maker and tv. Wifi was available in the lobby area and the downstairs pub. In the pub they served good, solid food at decent prices. Also the breakfast (surcharge) was well worth the money! Staff is nice and helpful! All in all a good stay!
