Stayed for one night. Hotel in a great location for north Antrim coast. Staff were friendly, had an evening meal which was OK. HOWEVER this is never a boutique hotel. The room was the worst furnished/equpped room we ever stayed in. There was NO tea/coffee making facilities ,NO mirror in the bedroom, NO clock, NO bedside lights/lamps, NO hair dryer, NO seat/chair, NO dressing table and most bizzarely of all, NO phone. This despite the fact the hotel provided internal numbers to call. The wardrobe was positoned so close to the bed that you could only partially open the wardrobe doors, and could not move the bed because the headboard was attached to the wall. It was a struggle to walk between the wardrobe and bed. On our way up to the room at night there were bags of dirty linen sitting at the top of the stairs. When we went down for breakfast the next morning, the bags were still there. We had to use the stairs as the lift was not working.
For breakfast we were offered tea or coffee, and then served a fry. We were not offered breakfast juice, any cereals or any toast. Nothing was offered as an alternative to the fry. Never had breakfast served in this manner in any other hotel/B & B. Cannot believe that a hotel does not offer alternatives for breakfast, or offers guests toast/cereal/juice.
Emailed the hotel on our return home, but almost two weeks later have not received any reply or acknowledement. Could not recommend a stay at this hotel, particularly as there are plenty of alternatives in the area.
