Amazing property, had everything you could possibly need. Kitchen was the best equipped we have had in holiday rentals. Lounge/kitchen area was fab, little TV room so cosy. Master bedroom and bathroom stunning. Great location for the North Antrim coastline. Rathlin Island is a must also Ballintoy worth a visit really pretty. We were lucky with the weather had sunshine most days!
Would definitely recommend this property.

We spent a lovely week staying at the huston farmhouse the farmhouse was all we could ask for and more. The house was amazing inside big open plan living/dining area but my favourite place had to be the cosy snug were we spent most nights and the garden was nice and large perfect for our 4 dogs to spend there days running and playing till they could run no more. It was situated about 100 metres up a lane off the main road which suited us perfect there was also a bus stop at the bottom off the lane which was also handy. We would definitley stay there again and are already looking into booking again for next year. Many thanks again Adrain for a great holiday thanks jim and family

This is an exceptionally good place to stay - a lovely old farmhouse renovated, extended and equipped to a very high standard, with a real flair for design as well as high-quality materials and equipment. Everything needed is there, and it all works. (For example it's great to see reading lights in all bedrooms, a full range of kitchen equipment, enough crockery and cutlery not to leave you short whilst using the dishwasher). Directions sent in advance of our stay were spot on and there is a very comprehensive information folder. We managed to set off a smoke alarm with some over-enthusiastic frying and there is a reassuringly complex alarm system. This took some sorting out but the owner was quickly on the phone and handled to problem with great efficiency and enormous good humour. There was a generous and thoughtful welcome pack. Our dogs were made genuinely welcome rather than - as more often the case elsewhere - merely tolerated.
We were over from England mainly to see family and know the area well. If you don't, it's a great place to visit - some beautiful spots within an easy drive (e.g. the Giants Causeway and the Glens of Antrim). The farmhouse is very convenient for Portrush (lovely beaches and harbour) and Coleraine (good shopping).
Difficult to find any downside at all - if I'm trying hard the kitchen knives are not up to the standard of the rest of the equipment and being on a working farm did entail a bit of noise and smell, but nothing which detracted significantly from a splendid stay. We've rented quite a number of holiday places and this is undoubtedly the best.

The homely nature of this beautiful property was the first thing to hit us. The vaulted ceiling in the open plan living area is stunning . Once settled there the relaxing comfortable atmosphere makes it hard to want to leave the property. Our two young children were happy just to chill out making use of the games provided. Another favourite aspect for myself was the feature bath situated in the middle of the substantial upstairs bathroom . A nice treat for a busy Mummy.. We would definitely recommend you try this obviously loved holiday home. The proximity to both Coleraine and Portrush is a benefit - if you can tear yourself away from the warm hug this home gives you. Beautiful....
Stayed in the farmhouse for two nights as part of my wifes birthday celebrations. Took our two sons aged 25 and 18 and our daughter aged 22 plus the dog Max.
First impressions were that the accomodation was very clean, well maintained warm and welcoming. The beds are really comfortable, the rooms are well furnished, the bathrooms are spotless and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need if you intend to cook.
There is even a seperate room for television or for younger people to plug the xbox into when they tire of listening to the adults admiring the view,
The multi fuel fire keeps things cosy as does the under floor central heating. ( the dog has been in a huff since we came home where he has not got this luxury ) The situaton of the farm means both Portrush and Coleraine are only a couple of minutes away in either direction. The welcome pack is a nice touch and takes care of breakfast on your first morning ( tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter etc ) I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a relaxing stay on the north coast. The owner Mr Huston is very attentive prior to your stay and makes sure everything runs smoothly prior to arrival..Give yourself a treat and stay here, you will go home relaxed and like us promising to visit again soon.

A MOST PLEASENT EXPERIENCE. WE WILL RETURN AGAIN NEXT YEAR.A relaxing Mini break with beautiful surroundings, and very close to the town, didnt actually go out much because of the home comforts and the feeling that everything had been taken care of, even a welcome pack and some coal for the fire although the house is warm at all times with the under floor heating but we lit the fire anyway for that lovelly home feel and nearly knocked ourselves out with the heat. LOVELLY... A great place for a family get together Should be rated 5 star. Oh and your can bring your beloved pets. I could rave about this place all day. Just Book It.*****
I've finally discovered trip advisor, and the first place I had to review was the Huston farm house!
What can I say that hasn't already been said, this place is incredible!
From the thoughtful welcome package, the detailed instruction manual, to the cosy yet elegant bedrooms and bathrooms, everything was perfect. I can't remember a costal break ever being this amazing or relaxing before.
The previous reviews alone should encourage you to book here, although for selfish reasons I'd love it to be kept secret, as I can't wait to book again!
