What a lovely time we had once we found it, From Portadown side head all the way straight through Banbridge, About a mile from the town centre there's a roundabout. Take a left and it's a few metres on the right hand side.
FE McWilliam was a very famous sculptor and rubbed shoulders with famous artists. He originated from Banbridge but spent a lot of his life in London. On his death he bequeathed his studio and some of his sculptures to the people of Banbridge. Thankfully the council had the foresight to house his wonderful gesture in a modern gallery surrounded by a small sculpture park, exhibition area, McWilliam's own studio and a first class, though small restaurant run by the Quail family who serve a limited but excellent menu.
