Stayed here for two nights. Room was of a good size in the Annex of the hotel not much of a view just the road. Food was good but basic with massive portions quantity rather than quality. Breakfast was average.
Staff were very friendly and efficient.
Probably not stay there again would prefer a hotel closer to the sea.
You would need a car to get to all locations but is walking distance into Coleraine town centre.

Room Tip: None of the rooms have a view but I believe the annex have more spacious rooms.

When on holiday in the North Coast we dined in this hotel on 2 occassions. The 1st occassion we brought 2 friends with us, making a party of 4 people for the tea-time treat, we found it necessary to book a table as the hotel as the tea-time treat seemed to be popular. We were greeted by a very friendly, efficient waiter who promptly took our drink order followed by taken our main and desert order. The meal was delicious, compliments to the chef. All in all a very pleasurable experience, can't wait until we're back in the North Coast.

As a visitor from England (my in-laws live in Coleraine) I always make sure I fit in a meal at the Lodge during my annual holiday. When I do visit it is always part of a large party (4 children+hubbie+in-laws etc) and not once have I been served a bad meal! The staff are brilliant and so polite! The "tea time treat" is a huge favourite and we are always amazed by the MASSIVE portions we receive! Kids are well catered for with a good choice of options and as the food is freshly cooked your chefs are always able to provide little things that aren't strictly on the menu without any fuss (plain pasta with a sprinkling of cheese which is all one of my boys will eat at the moment!).Your champ is to die for and if there were one area for improvement it would be to be a little more adventurous with the vegetarian options (saying that the tartlets on the menu are really nice!). I wish hotels/ restuarants in England would take a leaf out of your book in terms of service and good value! Next time I'm over I'm going to try some of the spa treatments which I saw advertised - can't wait!!! Well done and keep up the good work!
