Brown's Country House Bed and Breakfast
Ranked #3 of 18 Coleraine B&B and Inns

I spent almost two weeks touring around Ireland (May 2012) and this B&B has to be one of the best! A warm welcome from Sam and Jean plus a clean and comfortable bedroom. Breakfasts were excellent too, a good base to tour the north coast.

We had an excellent time on the North Coast for my friends birthday and Brown's Country House B&B was such a lovely and comfy place to bed down for the night. Jean and Sam were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay! We will definitely be back again and I would recommend staying there to anyone!

Was our first stay in Ireland after Dublin. Both we were surpized about the hospitality of Sam and Jean. No matter where you're from - Sam always connects the folks. His great way to handle things makes the day. At least Jean knocks on the door - time to work instead to entertain :)

What else: House? perfect. Breakfast? perfect. Tipps and hints? perfect. But - to use the words of US-Guests we met: "Sam, I made a decision: you can hold the farm". Hope all the other will have that much funn like we did.

That B&B is great situated to explore the County Antrim from Downhill Demesne in the west to the Glens of Antrim in the east. As well as Dunluce Castle, Giants Causeway Area, Dark Hedges Lane or Ban River Valley.

Mrs. Brown welcomed us with open arms as we struggled in from a long day of sight seeing in the area. There is so much to see in this part of Northern Ireland that by the time we wandered into her lovely b&b, we were ready for her welcoming cup of tea and to meet the other residents. The ensuite room was quite comfortable and the full Irish breakfast the next morning was great. We joked with Sam at breakfast who said that if he didn't march to Mrs. Brown's orders, he would be out. So, we made sure to peak our head in the kitchen afterwards to let Mrs. Brown know that she could keep him on staff.

Great B&B! Very friendly couple who own it. Room is cute and comfy. Breakfast was very good.

Room Tip: About 5 miles away from Giant's Causeway and super close to Portrush!

Very nice B&B held by two wonderful people who did anything to make us feel comfortable at their place. This house is the ideal place to stay in order to visit Ireland's North, conveniently situated in a calmer area between Bushmills, where you can visit the Giant's Causeway, and Portrush with it's beautiful beaches. We felt very welcome here and the B&B would have been worth the whole journey by itself!
