“BEST B&B Ever”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

This is absolutely the best B&B we have ever stayed in our trips to Ireland. The hosts (Sam and Jean) are the most genuine, accommodating, hosts we have experienced. We were served tea and biscuits in the sitting room upon our arrival from a long drive - Jean used her tea cart with nice china. We felt honored by such treatment. Jean is kind hearted and has been honored by the Queen for her service in the B&B industry. She is anxious to supply any information you need to make your stay a success. Sam is informative, and a great entertainer during breakfast. You are served your choice of breakfast and if you leave unsatisfied it is your own fault. This is a quiet place off the main road to Portrush. It is located conveniently for visits to the Bushmills Distillery, Giants Causeway (don't forget its free - read the postings on TripAdvisor by kezmac), Portrush, Dunluce castle, the Hedges, etc and whatever else you might want to explore.. We could have stayed out entire trip here and been satisfied. Sam and Jean know exactly how to operate their business and they are extremely good at it. Their christian values are certainly the basis for their success. I cannot recommend a better place to stay.

we were here for two wonderful peaceful nights. Jean and Sam are the most charming hosts you could imagine and their love for our Lord was obvious. (we enjoyed that part) The house is so cozy and comfortable where anything you might need is available. Jean met us and gave us some ideas to go for dinner and even offered to call reservations for us! We liked the fact that the house is centrally located and easy to find.
Our rooms were large and comfy clean with a spacious bathroom. Everything we need was there including the coffee and tea stuff and a hair dryer! Our wifi worked great so we could connect to home.
Breakfast was delightful in such a open and bright dinning room with linen table cloths and nice china. Jean cooked it up and Sam presented it with a smile and also a good story or two! we loved it Sam! It was like being with family in their home and we loved it all!

My husband and I stayed here for one week. Spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms with tea/coffee making facilities. The free WiFi worked well and was a bonus. The hosts Jean and Sam are very friendly, welcoming and attentive.
Breakfast is served at a pre arranged time to suit the individual guest and Jean was happy to accommodate earlier times when required. Plenty of choice and the food was excellent and mention must be made of Jeans delicious home baked wheaten bread.
Definitely a great place to stay within easy reach of the North Coast attractions.

We had a very good nights stay at the Brown's. Beautiful room, lovely setting and kind and professional service. We were offered refreshments on arrival, which were quite satisfying and Jean gave us a convienent card showing local dinner options. We had a great breakfast in the morning and really enjoyed the conversation and music. This couple made us feel very welcome at their place.

Just a one night stay for me. I arrived at 4pm and found a note with my name on it sellotaped to the front door. It proved that Sam and Jean had gone out but had left me the room key. The room was cold when I arrived as the central heating was not on. However jean returned half an hour later and invited me to join her for coffee in their own lounge. So I had coffee and a selection of cakes with Jean in front of their wood burner. I then spent most of the evening there talking with Jean and Sam who proved to be a lovely deeply Christian couple. We talked of families, churches and life. Very pleasant as the gales howled their fury. Breakfast was great - lovely thick bacon and delightful tattie scones.

We stayed here two nights. The room was immaculate with a very nice bath, and our hosts, a kind and solicitous Christan couple, cooked breakfast to order and served tea and cookies when we arrived. The location is not far from town and very convenient to Giants Causeway and Dunluce Castle. The price was reasonable. This is a very nice working farm.

I stayed for 5 nights while doing family research. On arrival, Jean gave me a lovely afternoon tea in one of two guest's loungerooms. The other lounge room has very comfortable lounges, single chairs and a piano...great to relax in after a long day sightseeing. My bedroom was warm, lots of hanging space, tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was a good size and a hairdryer was included too. Jean cooked breakfast and Sam served it with a 'good morning and a smile.' Breakfasts were full Irish and I also had freshly cooked hot porridge each morning. Jean's home baked soda bread was absolutely wonderful and made this a home-away-from-home. It is also so close to Giants Causeway, Bushmill Distillery, Ballycastle and Coleraine and plenty of local restaurants. Will be back...most definitely!!

Room Tip: Australians will love the tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Do use the lounge room..its...
