Our day out in PortSunlight was fantastic. We went for the afternoon especially to see the Turner exhibition and we were not disappointed. A lovely exhibition and a lovely gallery, not too big or tiring to see it all and the collection is fantastic. Very impressed. The cafe is in the basement so as it was sunny went to the one at the museum which was very well priced and great quality, though the cakes here did look fresh and tempted us. Lovely helpful staff with good manner.

Thank Amit P

In a wonderful setting and a magnificent building this is most certainly one of the UK's top art galleries. A wealth of visual art, sculpture and historical background for all to see at no cost. Also there was a bonus for us, as during our visit, there was an exhibition of Turner originals on display.. The tea room does great food and drink.

This art gallery and museum is located in Port Sunlight Village, Wirral. The village itself is a really nice area to walk around with different types of cottages all built by the owner of Lever Brothers factory for his factory workers at the beginning of the last century. The art gallery and museum is a really interesting place to visit with many pictures and ceramics with various exhibitions at different times in the year. It is very well laid out and there is a nice tea rooms in the basement which also sells lunches. Entrance is free and the staff are very helpful.
