Recently visited here with my boyfriend on a Monday night. When we arrived there was one other family there but they soon finished and left after we sat down. Have ordered home delivery from here many times before but this was the first time I had actually been to sit down in the restaurant. Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly but service was a little slow - had to ask for the mint yoghurt for starters, after the mains came we had to wait a few minutes for the curry sauce to go with the mixed tandoori and after our plates were cleared there was a long wait before we were asked if we wanted the bill. We were both enjoying a glass of wine so we didn't mind too much but I know that this would not suit some people. The prices are brilliant, very good value and the food was lovely. Not sure how/why however I have definitely enjoyed the food more when I've had take away! Although some local music was playing there wasn't much of an atmosphere because of how quiet the restaurant was (expected on a Monday night) but I can imagine that it would be lovely with a little more bustle. Many of my friends have been before and have thoroughly enjoyed it which is why we decided to go. Would recommend for a cheap place to eat and fairly good indian food and whilst I will not be in any rush to, I would still return. Good choice on the menu, friendly staff and great mid-week deals and prices.
