On a rare escape without the Kids, my wife and I managed a lovely meal in Halligans. The restauirant is small and intimate, lighting used to really good effect to make dining more of an experience. The menu was extensive enough without being over elaborate, and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
The one peive of feedback I would give which is meant to be helpful, was that the staff did not come to the door to welcome us in. The room is quite small, so not far to come, but it would make a difference to have someone come to the door as you enter, rather than expect you to venture to the back of the room, especially on your first visit. That said, the staff were engaging and informative once we were seated
Overall we had a very positive experioence and will definately return.
