“What a let down, I wanted to hate.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 July 2014

As an anti royalist, anti posh, I was dragged here.
However how the other 0.01% live.
Loved it, educating, funny, inspiring, spellbound, suprising.
The guide was awesome.
Am going to give more homes like this a go.

“Great picnic site and brilliant for kids”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014 via mobile

If the weather is dry this is one of the best places to picnic and provide safe entertainment for children .

The grounds are stunning and the picnic site is next to one of the best adventure playgrounds and maze in this area .

We spent a great day in the sunshine with our family age range 1-61 and there was something for everyone .

the children played for hours in the playground and we all enjoyed running around the maze .

The less energetic ones had a stroll through the very pretty gardens ( Capability Brown must have been a very busy man !) .

A picnic is a must there .

We enjoyed it so much we are thinking of taking out annual membership to keep the grandchildren amused during the holidays

“Experience a wonderful day out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 June 2014

Spent the day at Ragley Hall, what a lovely place, visiting the Hall you learn about exciting historical events, there is wide open spaces, and a lake. Great picnic area, no barbecues allowed, and you can walk your dog around the grounds, so long as it is on a lead. Well worth a visit.

Ragley Park spans 400 acres of parkland which includes beautiful Gardens, a Woodland Walk that takes you through natural woodland and past meadows and prairies revealing stunning views of Ragley Hall.

During your visit, take in the stunning collection of vintage carriages on display in the stables.

You can also hire rowing boats; peddle boats and kayaks on the picturesque Ragley Lake (additional charge applies for boating).

Younger members of the family will be entertained for hours in Ragley’s Adventure Wood with slides, swings, climbing equipment and a 3D maze.

Bring your bikes, balls, bats and kites and set up a base camp for the day within Ragley’s beautiful and spacious grounds.

If you cannot be bothered to bring your own food, food can be purchased in the Terrace Café.

“Orienteering”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 June 2014

Had a fantastic day orienteering at Ragley Hall today. Excellent grounds to provide a great mix of terrains and difficulties for new and experienced orienteerers. Hope this can become a permanent fixture on the calendar!
