I recently stayed at the Whitehill Farm House for my cousins wedding. Travelling with my parents and partner we recieved a warm welcome from Maud and were instantly made to feel at home. The farm is located on Ballyquin Road just on the edge of Limavady itself. Lots of parking out front too. The B&B is around a 1hr 20min drive from Belfast.
The guest rooms are located in a self contained building to the back of the main house. It contains three rooms, two of which were ensuite (the final room, more or less had sole use of the bathroom on the hallway). Our room, a double, had the bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a small table next to the bed. The en-suite had a standup shower and the toilet. No TV so, if you need it, plan ahead of entertainment while in the room.
Breakfast was provided in the dining room which formed the connection between the guest rooms and the main house. Maud and Olive cooked a wonderful Irish breakfast for both mornings of our stay and they certainly left us well fed.
If your looking to explore the northern coast of Northern Ireland you really can't go wrong with this B&B. While it may not be the most luxurious of places, it is warm, comfortable and you'' certainly get more attentive service here!
