The hotel is attractive and well located , the service is excellent , staff friendly and I had a great sleep . Really lovely atmosphere , tranquil and genuinely caring staff team . I'm personally glad to have stayed at a hotel that retains a personality where there is a real sense of welcome and family . A lovely place and will be back , food great , staff team brilliant , hotel lovely and great craic .

Based on tripadvisor reviews, I ate here with work colleagues and found it disappointing. The hotel is dated and the bistro is reminiscent of an 80's pub. I'm sure it would be great for a
group out for a drink on a Saturday night, but it was not a bistro. The menu was uninspiring and included escalope of chicken, gammon steak, roast of the day, minute steak, deep fried cod, goujons, lasagne and burgers. Starters included fan of melon, breaded mushrooms, potato wedges, soup and cheesy garlic bread. Sadly, the food was, at best, mediocre. However, the portions were large. Some staff were quite cold, whilst others were very homely. I enjoyed myself, but that was down to the company and not the food or ambience. Although I would not recommend this establishment to connoisseurs of fine food, I think it would be a great place for people of retirement age.

stayed in drummond hotel last night while daughter was in a clinic nearby. lovely room, very clean, spotless bathroom.

staff were very friendly especially the manager of the restaurant, maybe Jim?, who didn't mind that i wanted to sit at a table not set up for breakfasts.

only downside, which is beyond the hotel's control really, are the birds very close by that are very noisy (not your lovely morning birdsong more like squalking crows).

would def recommend though.

My husband and i eat the Drummond Hotel nearly every sunday and as usual the food and service was excellent.
Choice of starters was very good i opted for the Chicken ad Leek Vol au vent which was very tasty indeed, the carvery itself was Turkey gammon beef lamb & Salmon and very generous portions of whatever you chose accompanied with choice of potatoes 4 vegetables the food was hot and so was the plates which is excellent as it means food still warm when you get back to your seat.
Desserts brillant choice again excellent as well, very reasonably priced for what you get the hotel was extremely busy yesterday but the service didn't suffer Pierce and Betty have everything under control its very nice as they still take time to talk to you even if they are busy would reccomend this place to one and all thanks again to one and all at the Drummond for superb food and service

This hotel is ideally situated for exploring the beautiful northern coast of Ireland as well as the Sperrin Monutains and visits to the City of Derry. An old manor house converted into a relaxing and very friendly hotel in idyllic countryside about 3 miles from Limavady town. The rooms are clean and well-appointed and well worth the modest charge for bed and breakfast. The lack of noise, both within and without the hotel make for a relaxing night and the showers are gloriously hot!

Have just returned from an overnight stay here. The staff were more than welcoming and very helpful. Room was clean and there was no hotel noise hence a good night's sleep. Good choice of bar snack, bistro and restaurant menus including an early bird menu. Good breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.
