“Very comfy accommodation set in the wonderful North Coast”
Reviewed 1 September 2014 for a stay in July 2014

My wife and I stayed for a week during July with our two teenage daughters. This is our third time at Castleshaw, but the first for some 8 or 9 years. This bungalow is set in the wonderful town of Castlerock - just 10 minutes walk from the train station/beach. It is only a few miles to Coleraine or Downhill/Musenden and 20 minutes away from Portrush/Giant's Causeway.. The house is well equipped for a week-long stay - the kids particularly likeed the WiFi. There is a fridge/freezer, washing machine etc - all the things you'd expect. The beds are very comfortable. A large flat screen TV helps pass a few hours at night or while its raining outside.
Edward is a joy to deal with - always friendly, accommodating and prompt in his dealings with you. You are met on arrival and shown around the property so that you know how everything works.
This is an ideal place to spend a week or two on Ireland's beautiful North Coast.

“Lovely place to stay!”
Reviewed 16 August 2014 for a stay in August 2013

Beautiful cottage. We had everything we needed to ensure our stay was comfortable. Travelling with a wheelchair, the house was wide enough to move around.

“A great house with everything you could need”
Reviewed 12 August 2014 for a stay in December 2013

We had a lovely Christmas break in Castleshaw. It's a really comfortable house, with calm unfussy decor (always nice to not be surrounded by other people's odd knick knacks!). The house had everything we needed and I was able to cook Christmas dinner for seven with no problems at all! It's a quick walk to the sea and close to shops, pub and train station. I know Castlerock really well and have family living there and this is a great location.

“Beautiful coastal holiday”
Reviewed 18 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

The house was really well presented and fitted out. Our host was there to give us a friendly welcome and took the time to step us through everything we needed to know. There was more than enough room for us as a couple and with 3 double bedrooms the house could easily cope with more. We also liked having plenty of space for off street parking.

We did lots of walking around the Castlerock area with a mixture of beach, clifftop and forest walks. But we also used the house as a base to see the stunning sights along the Causeway Coastal Route and several Game of Thrones filming locations. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable holiday.

“In a great location, well equipped and spacious bungalow”
Reviewed 29 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

Castlerock is a small seaside town with good amenities and a pretty beach, as well as interesting local walks and tourist attractions nearby. The bungalow was clean, modern and well decorated, had three good sized double bedrooms and the owner keeps it personally to a very high standard.
