“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed 27 October 2011

The safari park was excellent with small queues in the tiger, lion and wolf enclosure. Pleased we saw Ann the Elephant. We managed to see all the attractions without large queues bearing in mind it was half term.
All in all it was a good, enjoyable day out.

Thank Mrposthorn

Having visited Longleat and the Safari park 3 years ago we were very impressed by the new additions. The meerkat and chipmunk area are fabulous. We will have to return as they are added a facility where you can feed the giraffes.

“Thank goodness the hotel was full.”

Our daughters took us for an overnight stay at Longleat for our birthdays this year. They wanted us to stay at the the Bath Arms Hotel unfortunatley it was fully booked, so they booked us into the old gatehouse. What a treat it was. This accomadation sleeps up to 8 people, and is so well stocked for self catering. You don't need to take anything with you even down to the corkscrew. This building is hundreds of years old so don't expect big and sumptuous. It is well kept. Our bedroom was fantastic a double bed with what looked like furniture from the house that was no longer needed. Very atmospheric. Bunk beds on the next level with a double futon on the top level. Here you can watch over the park. Better than watching TV. Sky TV is provided on the lower level where the kitchen and dinning table are situated. There is also a garden area with seating and room for children to play. We had a very nice meal in the hotel and then walked down the drive this way we could all have a drink. The animals in the park were fantastic and the monkeys antics were unbelieveable. This was better than flowers and chocs any day.

I am one of those people who only writes reviews when I have a grievance but not this time. I'm 24 and last went when I was about 10. I actually enjoyed it more this time. A brilliant days out and all for nine pounds each using the tesco clubcard points offer. One of the best attractions I have been to in years. Brilliant.
