We recently visited Longleat safari park while on holiday in the area, our group was a mixture of ages ranging from the youngest being 9 and the oldest almost 60, (sorry dad) and i must say we had a great day, It is very pricey but isnt everything now, however we had some tesco vouchers which is brilliant and reduced the cost by over 50 pounds.
We started off doing the safari which does take quite some time as some cars want to pull over for quite a while and view the animals, we wernt dissapointed tho i think as it was a sunny day the anilmals were on top form, the giraffes walk over and have a look in your cars which is lovely, the lions had just been fed and were all larking around and the monkeys were hilarious how they hitch a ride on top of all the cars, however the car in front of us did get quite damaged as they ripped the window wipers off and other bits were all hanging off but you can bypass this if your not sure.
The attractions after the safari were fab too, we had a ride on the boat to see gorilla island and fed the sealions which was lovely.
We also went and looked around the house too which was stunning and so interesting.
The Hunters of the sky bird show was fantastic and well worth going to see, i wont spoil it and tell you what happens but its great.
We didnt buy any lunch there as we always take a picnic to keep the cost down so cant comment on the food.
All i can say is if you get the chance, go, we all loved it.
