Definitely the best food around. Excellent menu, consistently tasty food, delivered by friendly staff at reasonable prices. Would recommend to all...except "the guides", as it would then get too busy!

Sorry for this very late review we stayed at the Weymouth Arms over Easter while visiting relatives in the area. the actual building dates a couple of hundred years so is full of character. But Shane and Natallia have spared no expense bringing the guest rooms up to a modern specification without losing any of their original charm and character.
Natallia runs the front of house side of things making sure you have everything you need, while Shane is in charge of the restaurant. We ate in the restaurant twice during our stay, and all I can say is the standard of food is outstanding you can tell that Shane as learned is trade working with the best.
we wouldn't hesitate in returning when we are in the area again and recommend it to friends and family. Its a great location for visiting numerous places of attraction and all round great value.

Room Tip: Either they are all great

Stayed here on Sunday 23rd June prior to a stay at Centre Parcs. We were absolutely amazed at the size and quality of our room kitted out with tasteful furnishings inc Queen Bed. Privately owned by a young couple who were so polite & helpful. Bathroom even boasted Guest tooth brushes/toothpaste & razor/shaving foam. We were given our own front door key to access as we pleased. Unfortunately restaurant was closed on a Sunday as we had heard good reviews. Breakfast was superb. Inc in price is a Continental which included croissants & pancakes, fresh fruit etc. However, we requested a Full & poached eggs on brown ,which were done to perfection!, def worth a visit if you want 5* treatment for a very good price. Ask for ROOM 4 - amazing.

Room Tip: Room 4. Is a must!

We stayed in the twin room for one night after a day at the spa (Longleat center parcs). This 'gastro-pub with rooms' was exactly what we were hoping for.
Just a few minutes drive from the spa, easy to find and handy parking next door to the pub in the public carpark which was free after 6pm and on Sundays.
The room was very large with beautiful bedding and period features. There was an immaculate modern en-suite bathroom- we were very happy with the room.
The rest of the stay was equally great- we had drinks in the lovely patio back garden, delicious dinner in the panelled dining room and then breakfast the next morning was a really lovely spread which again we ate in the garden to make the most of the sunshine! (pancakes with fresh raspberries and honey... Yum!!)

All in all it was a great stay with a very welcoming hostess and we couldn't be happier with our weekend away. We left feeling very rested and well-fed!

This hidden gem tucked away in a side street near the centre of Warminster. Owned by a young couple who have transformed this once run down pub into a gourmet pub restaurant with 5 star accommodation . As soon as we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The rooms were spotlessly clean , with a large comfortable bed, elegantly furnished with a comprehensive free welcome pack. The Weymouth Arms is all about the personal touch, they went that extra mile to ensure you had everything you needed. Excellent value and I would definitely stay there again and would certainly recommend it to other people. Need to book early to avoid disappointment. Dinner in the restaurant is a must.

Tucked away in Warminster if you want to stay in the town or for Longleat this place is just great. Natalia and Shane are the proprietors and work at every detail to make your stay amazing. the building is beautiful and the rooms very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The room rates are very reasonable. The restaurant menu is fab. Shane is a great chef and nothing is too much trouble. I love the menu and for the quality it is well priced and puts to shame many of the local so called posh restaurants.
Disregard any negative comments here. I cant understand them. Just book!

We visited Longleat for 2 days and stayed at this hotel in between . Excellent place to stay if you visit Longleat as the hotel is only 5 mins by car. It has a large car park which is free between 6am and 8pm. When you first enter the hotel it looks very old and without atmosphere. It does not have a wide variety of beers.
We decided to have a meal in the hotels restaurant and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. The restaurant did look as though it could be busy most evenings so I would book a table. The bedroom was fantastic and had a big spa bath, superb.
The hotel offers a continental breakfast for free or a full English for £7 per person. We had the full English, unfortunately we didn't enjoy it. The continental was very well laid out and had so much variety we wished we had chose this option.
If you are going to Longleat on the 2 day pass then we would strongly recommend you stay at the Weymouth Arms.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a spa bath.
