Wonderful meal, top notch Sunday roast. Couldn't fault it. Not the cheapest of roasts available in town but you pay for.quality here..

“Consistently Good”
Reviewed 19 March 2014 via mobile

We live locally and although we don't eat out locally very much, we have been here a number of times, whether for a quiet drink or a meal. The ambience is friendly yet discrete without being stuffy. The food and service never disappoint so we will be back. It feels more like a restaurant with a cosy bar area than a pub, which probably appeals to a mature clientele.

“Not as good as before”
Reviewed 13 March 2014

It was a mid week and the place was very quiet with little atmoshere. The food was not as good as our previous visits and i had far too much which put me off as large portions does not equate to quality

Thank you for your review We continue to develop our family business and keep continuing to improver our standards and learn for our mistakes, its very difficult to cater to everyone's tastes and we value any feed back that can help us improve our business.
January and February are all ways a little quieter after Christmas mid week, but 2014 have been quite busy.

We are very generous with our portion size and I'm very sorry that has offended you.
We look forward to seeing you again and if you tell our manger Cameron we can reduce your portion size to make you feel more comfortable.
Kind regards
shane goodway

“Warminster's best restaurant”
Reviewed 11 March 2014

The Weymouth Arms is Warminster's best restaurant, not least because it's chef is formally trained. They have spent a fortune on refurbishing it since taking over several years ago, and they deserve all the success they are enjoying. We haven't stayed in the guest rooms (because we live 400 yards away) but we understand that they are excellent and invariably fully booked. The food is imaginative, without being poncey, and well-presented by personable wating staff.

“An Enjoyable Evening Meal with Friends”
Reviewed 17 February 2014

We returned to this restaurant with two friends who had not been there before. Like us they were impressed by the welcome we received and the warm atmosphere we experienced. It was a Friday evening and we had booked our table a few day ago having experienced another evening recommended by our daughter and her husband.

The service was excellent and we all had different main courses served at a reasonable interlude, not too quickly and not too much waiting time. The choice of meals were great, a good selection and not over facing. We all chose desserts that were mouth watering and again a terrific choice. The cost including beers, shorts and wine totaled less than £150 for four people and we will definitely visit this restaurant again.
