Since moving to the village a year ago we have eaten here on at least 11 occasions and have never been disappointed. Whether there are 2 or 10 of us the service is always friendly and the food excellent. Unusually there are no menus so you need to order food from the blackboards at the bar which can cause congestion if there are alot of you. Choices range from "comfort food"- sausage and mash, burgers etc at around £10 to steak, fish and duck at £21. Both are cooked to perfection and for me personally the fish dishes are first choice - coconut crusted haddock is sublime and seabass with chorizo another favourite. The pub is small so it is wise to book ahead even in the week. My only request would be abit more variety on the menu (seasonal changes?) for us regulars!
