Description: Welcome to The Dove Inn - a delightful country pub in the heart of the unspoilt Wiltshire countryside, providing an award winning restaurant with flag stoned bar and thoughtfully appointed en-suite guest rooms. This beautiful village pub is tucked away in the village of Corton - close to the River Wylye and is ideally situated in the local area. It is within easy reach of Longleat, Stonehenge and Bath, also being easily accessible from London and the South East. We have recently completely refurbished The Dove Inn, sympathetically Image shows The Dove Inn barmodernising the building and restoring many original features. Today The Dove prides itself on its fine tradition of warm hospitality, excellent accommodation and imaginative cuisine. The Dove offers first class, modern pub food that is hearty, flavoursome and fresh with an extensive fresh fish menu also available. Come and relax in the bar beside the open fire or dine in our restaurant, conservatory or alfresco on the terrace or in the garden. We're open all day, so call in for a drink, snack or a delicious meal.

“What a find!”
Reviewed 18 October 2013

We discovered the Dove Inn purely by chance when we were driving down the A36 to Bath and saw a sign advertising the 'pub lunch' we were after. After Driving down a long country lane, slowly after a very large tractor, we discovered the perfect place to relax . They proprietors were very welcoming, the ambience was great and the veal i had was the best i have ever tasted, totally melted in the mouth. Total commendation to the chef. The owners have recently refurbished the Inn and i can say it's the only time i've walked into a restaurant and said i want my toilet area done "just like theirs!" . We will definately go back if we are in the area again and would be interested how their 'holiday lets' have taken shape as they were nearly finished whilst we were there.

“gastro pub in south west Wiltshire”
Reviewed 10 October 2013

This pub has been transformed in recent times and now would not be out of place in the posher parts of Gloucestershire. So it's good to find such a quality place in rural Wilts. A large and well designed main bar and eating area with wooden floors. Outside there are tables and chairs in the sheltered semi walled hard surfaced areas. It has accommodation too, in what were at one time old outbuildings, but now brought bang up to date. Food is good, but a little pricey for what you get.

“Lovely Restaurant and Accommodation”
Reviewed 21 September 2013

We went to the Dove Inn to meet up with friends we hadn't seen for years. It was on a Sunday and what a lovely surprise this place turned out to be. Good hospitality and a fine Sunday lunch with a choice of other items from the busy menu. They had stocked Kenya's favourite 'Tusker' Beer on ice for us and that made the meal even more enjoyable. Parking OK and plenty of seating. It was good value for money and we will visit again in the future.

“Find it and you will love it!”
Reviewed 18 August 2013

An outstanding gastropub. Excellent & varied menu with superb ingredients, preparation, presentation & service. Wine quality also top-notch.
Two visits while on a short holiday showed just how good this place is.
I would ring ahead at busy times as it seems the locals know & support this establishment well.
A short distance down winding country roads but 100% worth the journey. Well behaved dogs allowed in bar. Beautiful countryside surrounds.

“Pleasant Meal in nice surroundings”
Reviewed 15 July 2013

We recently visited this restaurant and had a very pleasant meal.

Deciding on main and sweet from the extensive menu, we ordered our meals and did not have too long to wait even though the restaurant was quite busy.

The overall opinion we got was that it was value for money for the style and quality of food that was offerred
