We recently spent the night at Herb Cottage and had a really good experience. The owner, Suzanne, gave us a genuinely warm and friendly welcome. The room was excellent - the bed was enormous! - and the breakfast perfect. It's not the cheapest, but we felt we received full value for money.
PS. Having Google mapped it beforehand, we found it without any difficulty. Our satnav took us to the entrance of the lane - just look out for the little road sign that reads "NOS 94-102" on the left, approximately 300m after you turn at The Plough at Bradford Leigh.

My wife, daughter, son-in-law, and 1 year old granddaughter spent two lovely days at Herb Cottage. As it has only two rooms we had the property to ourselves. We found the rooms, public areas, and grounds very appealing. The breakfast room in particular is so welcoming. My only complaint (as with so many country places) is that the directions are not great and it is not the easiest place to find.

I visited Herb Cottage needing to get away from the bustle and noise of work and city life for a short break. Having walked from Bath to Bradford on Avon I was warmly welcomed by Suzanne and my needs were well met. I will definitely be visiting again,

Herb cottage is a true delight in a lovely peaceful setting. Suzanne gave us the warmest of welcomes. Her serenity and sincerity and thoughtfulness gave us the happiest of holiday breaks. Her taste and artistic touches simply added to the friendliness she offered. We have just had the most memorable four days.

We stayed at Herb Cottage while in the area for a friend's wedding and only wish we'd stayed longer than one night - as others have said, room was very comfy, views over the rolling fields lovely, the welcome warm, and the breakfast delicious. My only top tip would be to look out for the sign saying "number 94 to 102" on the main road (99 is at the end of the lane) as otherwise easy to drive past and miss it, which would be a real shame!

We stayed with Suzanne at the beginning of June and had a fantastic time. The room was very well appointed and clean, with a bed that you just did not want to get out of, and the most amazing view across the rolling fields. However what was most memorable about our stay was Suzanne herself who accomodated some very last minute requests from us with the utmost charm. We will be returning!

We had a wonderful time at Suzanne's cottage, warm and friendly. Suzanne was particularly helpful in telling us what there was to see in the local area, her information enabled us to get the most out of our 3 nights. We intended to stay only 2 nights, stayed 3 and were tempted to stay longer - had a lovely time. And the pub The Plough a few minutes walk away provided good meals at a reasonable price each evening. All together we would recommend a visit to Suzanne's.
