Had a lovely breakfast here, large portions. The bacon was the best and biggest I have ever had! You can sit inside or out, watch the canal or the walkers on the towpath. Lovely atmosphere.

Been for breakfast and an evening meal and haven't been disappointed..

The staff are friendly, the food is lush and the location is just perfect.. can't fault it. We've been to various eating establishments around the area and the Lock Inn is a firm favourite.

There is plenty of choice for both breakfast and main meals, makes me wonder how the chef copes!!

Clearly a popular place to eat/drink though as its always busy when we visit, both inside and outside. Highly recommend a visit just to take in the quirkiness of the place.

Our Granddaughter's love this place, they like the boat to eat in. Food is OK - best thing is the specials and the breakfasts. Great location and busy year round because of this, No wonder the owner is always smiling.

I have been visiting this cafe for around 15 years now.
When I first visited, it was compulsory that you try the "World famous Boatman's breakfast" which was admittedly amazing.
Unfortunately, over the years although the menu has changed very little, the food quality has dropped, and some of the dishes are now very poor.
However the atmosphere is very good, and the location on the canal in Bradford-on-Avon is fantastic.
I just hope they can up the quality to the level they had around 10 years ago.
