This is a charming restaurant just by the bridge. We were fortunate to have a window table in the first floor restaurant overlooking the river.
Lunch is still £12 for two courses and £16 for three with a choice of two or three items at each course. Good value we thought. A la carte and evenings are rather more expensive. We enjoyed our lunch and, as previously noted, the service is very professional. For lunchtime we had a lager, fortunate because the wines looked a bit pricey.
The only disappointment was the caffeteria of coffee (£3 per head). We had anticipated a really good Italian one but our's was a bit mediocre.
