Not a huge amount to say other that this is simply how a B&B should be run. Everything is just so good. Try and book the swimming pool too, whilst you are there - a wonderful way to relax and like everything else is looked after by Kim & Mark who are just the perfect hosts..
I must mention breakfast - everything cooked to order and perfect. Not tried an Aga cooked egg ? Me neither until now but like everything it was really good. Pancakes with fruit made the whole breakfast really special.
If you want somewhere special in the Bath area you won't find better.

We stayed for two nights with our twin boys (11 years old). Everything the other reviewers have said is true: Kim is a genuinely warm and friendly hostess, who does everything possible to enhance your holiday, including the less obvious like tips on where to park and routes to take in and out of Bath, and which times of day are better to visit certain attractions. The house is spacious and comfortable and situated perfectly - near enough to Bath for convenience, but far enough to afford beautiful views and absolute peace and quiet at night. Our family room was very comfortable for all four of us, with beatiful views from the windows, Loads of towels and pillows to choose from, a good ensuite shower room and plenty of storage space. Breakfast was perfect with lots of choice both hot and cold - the boys ate their weight in fruit salad, pancakes and full English! The pool is lovely (it is let out during the day to regular users, but if you are lucky to get a spare slot the small extra payment is well worth it for entirely private access to such a lovely pool). There are doubtless plenty of lovely places to stay in the area but you certainly won't be disappointed if you stay at Ashley Wood Farm.

This was our 4th stay at Ashley Wood Farm! The accomodation is first class - it is clean and comfortable with a really nice view from the bedroom/dining room window.. Kim is an excellent hostess, nothing is too much trouble, she is always on hand and ensures you make the best of your stay in the area. Breakfast was delicious with menu choice. The pool, which can be hired is fantastic.

There are many B&B's in Bath you could stay at, but do not look any further than Ashley wood farm!.We were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome and shown around Kim's beautiful house. We were very fortunate to have the Garden suite which was simply fantastic, beyond any 5* hotel room, it had a full size kitchen, beautifully decorated with stunning views. We were overwhelmed by how nice it was!. Breakfast was gorgeous and Kim could not have done more to ensure we had everything we wanted. Kim also provided maps, recommendations and as much info on getting in and around bath as you could possibly wish for. We felt so welcome and looked after, a return visit is nothing short of inevitable!

A really beautiful location and the B&B is even better. We really enjoyed our room and the house in general. Everything had a really good mix of being professional, tidy and homely at the same time. It would be worth going back just for the breakfast, absolutely delicious and plenty. We found that Kim did a brilliant job of providing an excellent and professional service whilst having the right balance of that personal touch which made our stay so enjoyable. We also found her advice on what to do in the area really helpful and well explained. We would absolutely recommend staying at Ashley wood farm B&B!

My mother, husband and I spent two very happy nights at Ashley Wood Farm - we couldn't have asked for more! The welcome was warm and genuine, the whole property comfortable and spotlessly clean and breakfast was hearty and delicious. The location is idyllic, and makes for a perfect compromise between town and countryside, being just outside Bath. A huge thank you from all of us!

Absolutely superb, we couldn't of asked for any better service, Kim and her family are so welcoming, breakfast was just amazing and the whole experience was enjoyed by all, the tour of the farm and seeing all the animals was truly enjoyed by Olivia and Sophia as was the swim in their wonderful swimming pool. We will most certainly be going back.
