The entrance to the Garden House is so very pretty. Warm welcome from Jonathan our host, who had also arranged for us to eat at the Metheun Arms - an excellent choice of restaurant less than 10 minutes walk away.

Parking is on street (and the street is pretty narrow)

Our room was bright and nicely decorated Excellent breakfast - what more can one ask for.

We had the most wonderful time with Jennie and Jonathan. They are such a fun, warm couple who made us feel completely at home and helped us to make the most of our short visit to the picture perfect village that they are right in the heart of. I am lucky enough to be from a beautiful village in Surrey but nothing compares to the likes of Corsham, it really is like walking into a film set! The location for Bath and from the M5 also couldn't be better. I need to also mention the breakfast.. go hungry and be ready for a wonderful homemade feast! We cannot recommend the Garden House highly enough.

Unfortunately I lodged in this beautififul accomodation just for two nights in occasion of a conference of my job. But I wish to return with my family, the place is comfortable it seem to stay at home or better. The owners Jonathan and Jennie are so special and loving. So if you want to rest in a peaceful place close to Bath and in a few minute from the Corham court, I strongly reccomend to lodge to the Garden House.

Stayed 3 nights, and would have liked to stay longer! We were going to a wedding nearby, and chose the Garden House because of the location. But were thrilled to bits as this is the BEST B&B we've ever stayed at, not only that - but BestByFar! The welcome, the surroundings, the room and in particular- the breakfast. For Scandinavians like ourselves, this is a rare experience where you really feel that famous British welcome and where you can enjoy the best of British!

We selected The Garden House based on the previous Tripadvisor reviews and also the flexibility to offer one night (not standard two nights over weekends) and a twin room. You cannot park outside the B&B until after 6pm on Saturdays so we found a free spot a very short walk away.

From the very friendly first welcome by Jonathon to the delicious breakfast cooked by Jennie, everything was spot-on. The ground floor twin room we stayed in has comfy armchairs, a modern en-suite bathroom and even mini-alarm clocks on each bedside table. Take a look at their website for room photos.

The house itself and especially the breakfast room is charming, relaxed and it almost seemed a shame to leave! Jonathon had advised us about the local bus arrangements into central Bath which worked very well on Saturday (approx 30 minutes) and recommended we try a local restaurant (the Cinnamon) for dinner.

Jennie and Jonathon are wonderful hosts - definitely highly recommended.

Loved our one night stay in this beautiful house. We stayed in the upstairs double room, which is absolutely wonderful, very comfortable and spacious. I would just say the upstairs room is not one for tall people as some of the eaves in the bathroom are low, but the ground floor room is equally gorgeous.

The owners were very welcoming and lovely hosts. Jennie even said we could bring a takeaway back to the room if we wanted. Cutlery and crockery is provided in the room. Actually ate in the Indian restaurant nearbye, which was pretty good.

The breakfast was taken in the conservatory looking out on a beautiful garden. Breakfast started off by a very fresh fresh fruit salad and yoghurt. The full english breakfast was very tasty, great mushrooms and sauteed potatoes!! A local sausage would have made a fabulous breakfast unbeatable!

I cannot recommend this gem of a B&B highly enough.

I stayed with John and Jennie as a regular customer as it was a little haven. I enjoyed my time there and there was always a warm welcome. For me away from home on a regular basis it helped having such lovely people running the b and b. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they went out of their way to help out. I have fond memories of my stay which i will treasure. The house is amazing and so are the rooms warm and cosy and scrupulously clean.

I highly recommend the garden house as an excellent bed and breakfast to stay in you will not be disappointed
