We stayed at this B&B for one night to celebrate my partner's new dream job - I had emailed Caro in advance to ask if she could do anything to make the stay extra special, and was not disappointed when we arrived to a beaming welcome and a chilled bottle of Prosecco ready and waiting!
The room (4) was absolutely stunning - A beautiful blend of rustic and modern, and an incredible waterfall shower. The farm produce provided for breakfast was delicious, and such a nice idea that you can get up and potter around making breakfast at your leisure, rather than being up/showered/dressed ready for a canteen-style serving.
On the Saturday evening we used the directions provided in Caro's welcome pack to take a leisurely walk through the surrounding countryside, and had a picnic dinner by the river. Just stunning.
I honestly cannot recommend this B&B enough - Never have I been so impressed by such luxurious simplicity, Caro is on to an absolute winner!!

We recently stayed in Number 3 for a night as we were planning to explore Bath the next day. Upon arrival (you can check-in between 4:30 - 7:30) we were greeted by the lovely Caro who showed us to our room and gave us all the info that we would need to make our stay easy and enjoyable. We fell in love with the room which was furnished really nicely and so clean. The bathroom was large and well-equipped with the most amazing shower! The room also has a little kitchen in the corner and the fridge is packed full of local goods and the best sausages I have ever had. It was really nice getting up and cooking breakfast leisurely. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Everything was perfect and we both wished that we were staying longer. Will definitely be back! The SatNav will most probably take you down this little single track road off the A4 which seems to appear out of nowhere so be careful! We had to go into Box and turn around as we missed the turning (we were approaching from Corsham). There is another road just after (if approaching from Box) or a bit before (from Corsham) that is a bit easier. I think there's a B&B sign pointing down the road - but the Sat Nav tells you to go the other way. If you're looking for good, well-priced and generous portions then head to the Hare & Hounds in Corsham. Lovely food and the staff were amazing - very attentive and friendly.

A bit worried as we followed the Sat Nav to a steep narrow lane with a no through road sign, but as it happens the Sat Nav postcode takes you directly to the farm.
We were given a friendly welcome, given door keys & shown around the room. It’s a large spacious room with a high beamed ceiling. Very clean & well appointed with a large en-suite & some very nice toiletries. In the kitchen area the fridge contained orange juice, milk, butter, a pack of sausages, bacon & eggs. In the cupboards were selections of cereals, jams, tea, coffee, bread, biscuits etc. All you need really to keep you going for breakfast & snacks. It would have been nice to have some baked beans or tin tomatoes. Also as we were staying two nights we were unsure about the breakfast food. We had four sausages, four eggs & six rashers of streaky bacon which we used on the first morning. As it wasn't topped up we assumed that it was supposed to last for both breakfasts, but later found out we could have asked for more.
There is a large selection of DVDs that you can borrow & we did take advantage of this. (A nice touch) The location is very quiet, remote & peaceful, but within a couple of miles there are a handful of pubs that serve food. In fact we went to The Bear pub in box & had a very nice meal of their famous fish & chips. (Not sure what makes them famous)
The second night we ate "in" with the help of a microwave which was delivered on request.
To top things off we arrived home to discover we had left something in the bedside cupboard. After a phone call the missing item was packaged & arrived back with us the following day. Thanks for that.
We would defiantly recommend this for anyone looking for a B & B or hotel in this area.

Room Tip: We had room 4 which is the furthest from the farm house.

We stayed here for one night, and wished we'd booked for longer as it's a beautiful and unspoilt spot. The standard of fittings and furniture was fantastic - you can see how much care has been put in - and the bathroom was like that of a smart hotel. Having a fridge full of delicious farm produce and the privacy of being able to have breakfast (at whatever time we liked) in our own room was an extra treat. I've seen a review on here complaining about noise which surprises me - I think all the rooms were booked the night we were there but we didn't hear anything. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed here in June for one night. The room was beautifully presented throughout with exposed beams, nice furniture, a small kitchen area with everything you could need, and a large bathroom. The breakfast provided was amazing with locally sourced sausages which tasted amazing. We eat out the front of the room on the table and chairs which were provided. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I stayed in room number 3 (a twin room) for a night while away for a girly weekend treat for our birthdays.

On arrival I was blown away by the standard of cleanliness and facilities in the room. There was an awesome shower (except for a large crack in the show tray) and a kitchenette stocked with delicious provisions from the farm.

I was all set to give the place an outstanding review ...until we tried to sleep there.

There were couples in the rooms on either side of us. After we had turned in for the night we heard one couple return to their room. They turned on music and we could clearly hear them talking. This we could have coped with but we then spent the night being disturbed by their amorous night time activities, not once but several times. We are pretty broad minded but It was like trying to sleep on the set of a porn film. A throughly unpleasant experience.

I appreciate the owner cannot be held responsible for their guests activities but they could do something about the sound proofing.

I would have drawn the owners attention to the problem in the morning at checkout but she was nowhere to be found so we left the key in the room and departed.

This experience took T's B and B from 5 star to wouldn't recommend it - particularly not if you have children.

Room Tip: Don't stay in room 3 the sound proofing is terrible.
