“Beautiful food”
Reviewed 22 October 2012

The food is very good and something on the menu for everyone, as we went with some fussy eaters. The food looks and tastes beautiful. The mullet terrine and pork belly that I had were delicious! However the service did seem a little rushed because of very few staff but didn't take away from the experience, will return soon as it really is a lovely restaurant and deserves to do well.

“Pleasant but not wowed”
Reviewed 30 August 2012

Very pleasant venue, attentive service and my pudding of Chocolate & Horlicks Torte with a choc sorbet accompaniment was delicious. If there was a good rating I'd of given that but it was a choice of Very Good or Average so had to opt for the latter. I felt it was all trying a bit too hard.... the general presentation was all rather too 'ponsy' for my preference ,

“Sunday Lunch.”
Reviewed 4 July 2012

Had an excellent Sunday Lunch, when we visited Dragons Fold. I was very satisfied with the choices on the menu. Staff very helpful and friendly, not over the top. Wine list had a vey good selection. With regard to the deco, very fitting for the building. Will visit again soon.

“Beautiful food, warm and friendly owners”
Reviewed 1 July 2012

Beautifully redecorated on 1920s art deco the restaurant and bar is warm and inviting. Owners and waitresses friendly and informative and the food such a treat. Wonderfully presented, fresh ingredients, fine cooking without the pretension. Amuse bouche offered in the bar whilst waiting for the table added a lovely touch.

“Foodie paradise!”
Reviewed 24 June 2012

A lot of oowing and awwing at our table when the food arrived! Everything looked and tasted excellent, lots of different tastes and textures on the plate that all tie together beautifully. The lamb and Parkin for me were amazing, just looked simple and clean but with massive flavour.
Excellent and efficient service and the bar and restaurant was very tastefully decorated.
We will definately be returning.... Very soon
