Nicely situated hotel, quiet and friendly, comfortable with good attached restaurant, We have stayed more than once and it always seems to be the same high standard.
A High standard of cleanliness,
This time it was a stop over on a long journey and chosen due to previous costs.

Stayed for 3 nights on business together with colleagues at the end of March. The staff were very helpful and friendly and assisted us in extending our stay.
The rooms were great and large and clean.
They had everything you needed other than the WIFI was a let down.
Breakfast was great in the pub adjoining and our evening meals we had there too were tasty and good value.
I found the railway line next to the hotel disturbed my sleep despite the double glazing and freight trains ran late in the evening and early hours.
I also found the floors noisy when people walking around on the wooden floors. The heating in the room wasn't very good so glad it was mild.
TIP : Ask for a room on the top floor so you don't get the noise from above and ask for a room at the back of the hotel away from the railway line which may be quieter.
However, I had an enjoyable stay in a nice room with great staff. Would have been excellent but for few things mentioned and I have recommended this place to colleagues since I stayed there so that says it all.

Room Tip: Pick a room on the top floor and at the back of the hotel so it will be quieter

I cannot praise the team at the Premier Inn and Brewers Fayre highly enough. Friendly, welcoming, professional and caring with a 'can do' attitude. I thoroughly recommend this Premier Inn and all of the team.

An average hotel - decent price - CLEAN.. We stayed here 1 1/2 years ago and it was good enough to visit again. We knew pretty much what to expect. No phone in the room was surprising if there was an emergency for guests - this could cause a delay - though I am sure most people have cell phones. No real extras - just a clean room - place to sleep. Disappointing that the free WIFI is only temporary and for use longer than 1/2 hour, you need to purchase by the day or week. Staff is very friendly both at the front desk and in the adjoining restaurant / pub. We tried to leave a tip in the room for the cleaners but it was never taken. Need to drive or Taxi into town.

Room Tip: A walkway is nearby that goes under the roadway allowing you to visit the nearby Tesco if you need supplies or snacks for your room.
